If it's sleek, speedy, sporty and super pricey, it's a good bet that Supercar Blondie has been behind the wheel. But this time, Blondie—who also answers to Alex Hirschi—doesn't even get out of the back seat of her latest find, an ultra-luxurious custom Mercedes V-class van. Here's why she spends almost her entire video segment in the rear of this ritzy ride.

Sophisticated Central Control Screen

Hirschi isn't one to be gobsmacked when it comes to a lux set of wheels. After all, the motor maven has checked every high-end vehicle out there, right up to an F1 racecar. But the Mercedes V-class (In this case, the "V" stands for very expensive.) has all the bells and whistles that a VIP passenger needs for the sake of status. "Oh my god!" exclaimed Hirschi when she steps into the pink and purple carbon fiber interior. "It's crazy! I need this in my life!"

For starters, those hankering to light up a Havana will find a spoon-shaped cigar rest built right into a console as well as a state-of-the-art humidor for that prized tobacco stash. A central screen is conveniently located near the back of the four-seat compartment that controls everything from lights and seats to multimedia and a few other surprises. Or more adventurous occupants can download onto their smartphones the app to voice activate all those features.

Lights, Camera, Action!

That includes automatically opening and shutting the side panel door, activating the thousands of LED lights in the roof to your choice of color to suit your mood or getting a handy table to autonomously slide out from the side well into position. "This is like a Beyonce tray table!" exclaimed Hirschi. "It's like so extra!"

Additional features include another panel that spins to reveal an espresso machine, a safe that opens via fingerprint recognition and a big screen TV that slides up from behind the driver to watch everything from Apple TV and movies to a panoramic view of oncoming traffic courtesy of a camera embedded in the sloping hood.

Oh, and one more thing. A custom version of the V-class will set back the filthy rich a paltry quarter-million big ones, while upper-crust cheapskates might have to settle for a regular version for $50,000.

That said, a standard Mercedes van of this sort is hardly a jalopy with a four-cylinder diesel engine and a six-speed manual gearbox. An ergonomic leather interior comes with adjustable seats for drivers and passengers and a state-of-the-art multimedia central display unit. But then again, anyone familiar with Supercar Blondie will realize she doesn't do anything halfway.
