Everyone knows John Cena as a professional wrestler, but he has also ventured into rapping and acting starring in movies such as The Marine, Train Wreck, Ferdinand, and Bumblebee. Widely considered one of the greatest WWE wrestlers ever, John Cena has amassed a wealth of over $60 million, so it's not a shock that his garage is lined with some of the rarest and most exotic cars in the world.
When it comes to cars, John Cena has a type. He likes his cars to be just as muscular as he is. While he collects some cars for their beauty, speed, and power, he keeps others for nostalgic reasons. Let's step into Cena's garage to see which cars would make us jealous.
10 1966 Dodge Charger 426 HEMI
Cena's 1966 Dodge Charger 426 HEMI is an intimidating limited-edition muscle car with the same front-end sheet metal and chassis as the Coronet. Marketed as the *Leader of the Dodge Rebellion”, the '66 Chargers came with a 426 cubic inch HEMI that cranks out 425 hp. The 1966 Charger 426 HEMI is the very first muscle car made by Dodge, and it's worth over $100,000 today.
Beyond the stellar power rating, Dodge went a step further to ensure that the 1966 Charger 426 HEMI is comfortable. Full bucket seats are available at the front and back seats of the '66 Charger 426 HEMI, making Dodge the first carmaker to do that.
9 1969 COPO Chevrolet Camaro
Since Central Office Production Orders Camaros are not exactly production cars, they were not limited by the restrictions on weight, power, and displacement of that era. Cena's 1969 COPO Chevrolet Camaro is a red muscle car with an L72 iron Mark IV 427 CU engine mated with an H22 4-Speed transmission that squeezes out 425 hp.
John's first-generation Chevy Camaro was originally worth about $30,000, but now they are priced at $166,000. Only 193 units of the 1969 COPO Camaro were made, and they topped out at 200 mph.
8 1970 AMC Rebel The Machine
Looking at the white exterior of the 1970 AMC Rebel The Machine, you might think that it's not exactly a powerful muscle car. But you couldn't be more wrong. The Machine's 390-cu.in. V8 produces enough power to rip off your hair when it passes you on the road.
Rated at 340 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque, the AMC Rebel was pretty rare, with only about 2,326 units made. The 1970 AMC Rebel The Machine was originally valued at $3,475, but it should be over $100,000 currently.
7 1970 Plymouth Superbird
Cena's visually arresting 1970 Plymouth Superbird can be mistaken for the 1969 Dodge Daytona because of their similar nose and spoiler. However, there's a world of difference between the two muscle cars. The 1970 Superbird gets its power from a 440 cu.in. “Super Commando” V8 engine that gushes out 390 hp.
John Cena's 1970 Superbird is one of 1,920 examples made and perhaps one of the last surviving. The wrestler-cum-actor is inarguably a race fan in that many of the Plymouth Superbirds were collected by NASCAR Hall of Famers like Ray Evernham.
6 2006 Dodge Viper
John Cena's car collection is not complete without mentioning the pulsating 2006 Dodge Viper. We know that Cena has a thing for powerful cars, but with the Dodge Viper, it's safe to say he's also big on sleek cars that slither along effortlessly.
This superfast Viper takes only 3.1 seconds to reach 60 mph and gets to a quarter-mile in 12.1 seconds. Cena's Dodge Viper's pushrod 20-valve V10 engine blasts out 510 hp, and it costs about $86,000.
5 2006 Ford GT
John Cena owns a 2006 limited-edition Ford GT that is currently valued at roughly $400,000. Cena's '06 GT is one of 27 examples made, and it features a 330 cu.in. 6-speed manual transmission engine that pumps out 550 hp. The whole process of Cena acquiring the exclusive Ford GT led Ford to file a lawsuit against Cena, who then issued a countersuit.
The interior of the 2006 Ford GT is almost better than that of Ferrari, even though there are a few design flaws like the zero storage space. But Cena probably doesn't care about all that. He probably just needs a powerful speedster and the 2006 Ford GT doesn't fall short in that regard.
4 2007 Dodge Charger SRT-8 Super Bee
The 2007 Charger SRT-8 Super Bee is another modern muscle car in Cena's collection. The Detonator orange, the black racing stripe, the rear spoiler, and headlights all gang up to provide a monstrous look for the 2007 Dodge Charger Super Bee.
John's Charger Super Bee is one of a thousand examples built and while it was originally on sale for $20,000, it should be a little above $100,000 now. It comes with a high-performance HEMI V8 engine that cranks out 425 hp and torque of 420 lb-ft.
3 2007 Ford Mustang Saleen Parnelli Jones
John Cena collected one of 500 examples of the 2007 Ford Mustang Saleen Parnelli Jones ever built for roughly $40,000. The limited-edition Mustang rocks a 302 cu.in. 24-valve Ford modular V8 engine with a 5-speed manual transmission and delivers 400 hp.
The Grabber Orange Ford Mustang doesn't do too bad on the track, completing a 60-mph acceleration in 4.7 seconds. On public roads, Cena's Saleen Parnelli Jones Mustang is just as sublime as any Mustang.
2 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
If you have been following this list closely, you might have observed that Cena usually goes for muscle cars with higher power ratings every year. His 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is built with a 6.2-liter LS9 V8 engine that rolls out an astonishing 638 hp.
Cena's 2009 Corvette ZR1 is currently retailed at $105,000 and sprints to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and up to a quarter-mile at 131 mph in less than 11.4 seconds.
1 2013 Custom Corvette C7.R InCENArator
John Cena customized a Corvette C7.R to his taste and dubbed it the "InCENArator". Everything about this custom Corvette, from the headlights to the 8-flame spitting exhaust pipes screams incinerating!
The stock Corvette C7.R comes with a 5.5-liter V8 engine that makes 491 horsepower, but Cena wasn't satisfied with that, so he decided to team up with Parker Brothers Concepts to build a car that looks like it was made in the year 3000.
