10 Porsche 911 RSR
The Porsche 911 makes a return to the ever-popular race series with several variants. The one that promises to be the most fun is the 911 RSR. Based on the Type 991, the Porsche 911 RSR (2017) was built to race in the real-life LM-GTE class.
The Porsche 911 RSR features a 4.0L horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine mounted midship in-game. Its direct fuel injection produces a track-happy 502hp. With some good sticky tires, the RSR will be a blast in Gran Turismo 7!
9 McLaren F1 GTR
Developed as the perfect road car, the Mclaren F1 eventually saw enough pressure to produce an F1 for motorsports. In 1995 the GTR was unveiled with refined aerodynamics and additional changes for the track. The result was the McLaren F1 GTR.
The McLaren F1 GTR used a BMW 6.1L V12 engine with a record speed set in 1998 at 242 mph! With that kind of speed, the F1 GTR will be one of the fastest cars around the tracks of Gran Turismo 7.
8 Honda NSX Gr. 3
Based on the 2017 NSX, the Honda NSX Gr. 3 is a virtual car based on specs a GT3 car would undergo. Though a real NSX GT3 does exist, it is stylized through Acura with notable differences.
Around the tracks Gran Turismo 7, corners are everywhere, with the power to weight ratio of 5lbs/hp, and a 568hp engine, the NSX Gr. 3 will be engaging and quick!
7 Alfa Romeo 4C Gr. 3
For the upcoming installment of Gran Turismo, the Alfa Romeo 4C GR. 3, Based on the 4C Launch Edition, will make an exciting appearance. The Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.3 is another beautiful example of a virtual car based on a real-life counterpart.
The Alfa Romeo 4C is a fan favorite, and making a return with a 495hp engine means hours of endless fun. The 4C Gr.3 is applauded for its handling and speed out of the corners, proving tracks no match!
6 Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD)
Drift machine on steroids! The Type A RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) looks to provide a thrilling experience through corners, making tracks like the Nürburgring a breeze!
This classic GT car appears in almost every game, and once again, Gran Turismo 7 includes the final commemorative edition of the RX-7 FD. Featuring twin-sequential turbos on a 13B-REW engine will provide 292hp of fun through corners and straightaways!
5 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coupe (C2)
The Corvette Sting Ray Coupe introduced the world to the iconic Sting Ray racer design that took over in the late 1950s, successfully capturing the essence of the racer. In-Game, the C2 Sting Ray will provide an opportunity to drive one!
Using the Big-Block L78 engine, the Corvette C2 will have 419hp, proving that this classic can stand the test of time. Further, the opportunity to race it on some of the most well-known tracks around the world will be a treat.
4 Honda BEAT
The Honda BEAT shouldn't be referred to as small, rather fun-sized, and this class Kei car set the standard for what it meant to be small and mighty! The BEAT was unique for being a mid-engine RWD car, yet the different size tires and convertible styling said the BEAT was ready to play.
Featuring a naturally aspirated 656cc inline-three engine, the BEAT could achieve a top speed of 107 mph. It is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and this tiny car can take on anything in its class!
3 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary
The Countach is arguably the most iconic Lambo. The styling of the Countach put it in a league of its own, and this was in 1971! Gran Turismo 7 will include this classic Lamborghini in its 25th Anniversary Edition form.
Featuring upgraded exterior styling and the introduction of the 5000 Quattrovalve 5.2L V12 engine, the Lamborghini Countach is a formidable foe. And with 448hp, the Countach will be a breeze to pass by the competition, making it hard to wait for Gran Turismo 7 to play this beauty!
2 Aston Martin Vulcan
For Gran Turismo 7, a hypercar is just what the doctor ordered! Aston Martin produced a track-focused hypercar with the 2016 Vulcan. The Vulcan is based off the refinements and learnings of Aston Martin's previous hypercar, the One-77.
The Aston Martin Vulcan is clad in full carbon fiber monocoque and body, making it extremely light, which only benefits the 7.0L naturally aspirated V12. This monster is able to produce 799hp, virtually academic at this level; however, it will be exciting regardless!
