If you didn’t catch the Oscars this year, then you missed something. And let’s face it … celebrities sure have quite a bit of cash, and they don’t seem to mind throwing it around, either. Just take a look at some of the outfits many of them wore on the “red carpet.”

But you don’t need to watch the Oscars to figure that one out. Any paparazzi shot of your favorite celebrity will tell you that he or she sure isn’t left wanting on the financial side of things. At love, perhaps they’re a mess, but when it comes to the wallet, dear friend, most celebrities are winners.

Which brings us to our point: Celebs also have the money for awesome cars, and for the sake of this article, particularly Ford Mustangs. Ten of these celebs have epic Mustangs, but five we’ve found need a whole vehicular upgrade altogether.

15 Has A Sick Mustang - Tim Allen

via fkickr /Madison.com

On his hit sitcom from the nineties, Tim Allen played a car guy of epic proportions. On Home Improvement, he often put his hobbies, like the building of his coveted hot rod, even before his responsibilities as a father.

Of course, it was all good for a laugh, but as it turned out, the character he played wasn't all that far from the person he was in real life. His car collection proves that ... including this 2008 Bullitt Mustang GT that was part of his collection.

It's no surprise that Jay Leno loves his cars. Even before Jay Leno's Garage, the world knew that he had a passion for anything on wheels. And as can be seen with the Mustang pictured here, he loves his cars powerful and gorgeous too. It's a 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350, and for all and anyone who knows, this car sure is one of Ford's greatest creations.

This musician, who plays for the Zac Brown Band, is also a gentleman who knows his cars. Or rather, appreciates a fine Mustang. After all, which musician isn't working towards the possibility of attaining the car of his or her dreams once they "make it" in their industry? He sure made his dreams come true and judging by how he stands next to that 1967 Mustang, we're sure he's satisfied. Who wouldn't be?

As one of the noted singers of the hugely successful rock band, Van Halen, Sammy Hagar sure rose among the ranks. And as he climbed that ladder, so did the financial means come along to be able to afford all the toys he ever wanted, which include a gorgeous 1967 Shelby GT 500 Mustang, among other things.

Even though his hit song, "Like A Rock," was used for Chevrolet's commercials back in the day, rocker Bob Seger sure couldn't be lulled away from purchasing a Ford. In fact, his 1969 Shelby GT 350 was always one of his proud possessions. And we know that the good old song of his was set to describe Chevy trucks in those commercials, we'd say they applied to the wonder that is the Mustang as well. Like a rock indeed.

9 Has A Sick Mustang - Sylvester Stallone

via Daily Mail

This man needs no introduction, as there are few celebrities that can last a whopping five decades in the business and still be at the top of the game. His latest offering in the Rambo franchise did exceptionally well, and he is currently working on the highly anticipated Samaritan. He has an incredible car collection that also includes a whopping number of choppers and of course this custom Mustang.

Yet another action hero and his plethora of incredible vehicles. This man here actually once purchased a car he couldn't fit into... a Ford GT. It made a bit of news, but at the same time, it showed how dedicated he is to the art of car collecting. He's got an astounding amount of cars in his collection. One, in particular, is his 2007 Mustang, pictured here.

And yes, even John McClane himself has a Ford Mustang, and it is a Shelby... a 1968 Shelby GT500, to be exact. But perhaps even more relevant here than the character he played in a whopping five movies, is his love for cars, especially this one. He's still acting up quite the storm, with Trauma Center being released just recently, and a rumored sixth Die Hard in the works, we'd say his car collection can only grow from here.

via via classic recreations / the telegraph

Jim Morrison is perhaps one of the greatest lead singers of the 20th Century. He led The Doors to superstardom with his poetic writing and delivery. Still today, their music dominates the airwaves of classic rock radio stations everywhere. The tale of his 1967 Shelby GT500 non-fatal crash is as infamous as some of his antics on stage. But like great cars, his music lives on.

via Autos, Motos y Otros - Mercado Libre México And Insider

Now this one here sent us for quite the loop. As far as Mustangs go, we'd say that the nineties era Mustangs were perhaps not the best offering by Ford over the long years. Yet, many are fans of those Mustangs, and one of those fans just happens to be rapper Eminem. Like Morrison, he too is a great poet, and we love his music. But perhaps he needs an upgrade where his choice in Mustangs is concerned.

4 Needs An Upgrade - Christian Bale

via DMARGE

Christian Bale is one of the greatest actors of the last few decades, and moving forward, we see nothing but further successes for this icon. At home though, he sure doesn't drive the mysterious Tumbler Bat Mobile we saw him in when he portrayed Batman in the Christopher Nolan films. Instead, he runs his errands in a Toyota Tacoma.

3 Needs An Upgrade - Alfred Morris

via CNBC.com

We'll get to the point right away, without wasting anyone's time. Alfred Morris has had a phenomenal football career, and with that success, we have no doubt that he made quite a bit of dough. So why not make an upgrade where his cards are concerned? Perhaps his 1991 Mazda 626 holds a special place in his heart? Even so ... Alfred!

2 Needs An Upgrade - Britney Spears

via BabbleTop

Although she's not driving in this particular shot, Britney has often been seen in this Cooper, and to that, we ask: Really, Britney? Mini Coopers are fine, and we understand that they have their fans and supporters, but outside of a really good car chase in a film shot in Europe, we really don't see the point.

1 Needs An Upgrade - Jordana Brewster

via HawtCelebs

Now talk about movies in which epic car chases are shot and re-shot. Jordana Brewster is no stranger to extraordinary car chases. She, of course, has played Mia Toretto in The Fast and The Furious films, and yeah, she plays Dom's sister. So that's why it's kind of weird to see her parading around town in a Range Rover. Somehow we don't see Mia following close behind Dom's Charger in one of those.
