Although not fully-electric, the Toyota Prius is without a doubt the most popular hybrids of all time. At the recently concluded LA Auto Show, Toyota took the covers of the fifth generation Prius, and we can see that it has undergone a massive transformation.

The new Prius certainly looks a lot cooler than before, and it will even get a more powerful hybrid powertrain, and a completely redesigned interior, which is sure to feature the most awesome tech. Power output will now be around 194 and 220 horsepower, depending on which variant you choose, but that is a significant improvement from the previous model's very modest 121 horsepower. The 2023 Toyota Prius will feature a lithium-ion battery pack, and apparently it will also get solar panels.

Still in its concept phase, Kia dreams of making the EV9 one of the most futuristic electric vehicles in modern history. What we love most about this car though is that Kia promises it will be one of the first full-sized, three-row, fully-electric SUVs on the market, and it will also have a much lower price than the competition. With features like an incorporated solar panel, only time will show for how long this car will be able to travel on a single charge. The manufacturer puts its range around 300 miles alongside a battery that will support 350-kilowatt fast charging. As for aesthetics, the dashboard will feature a full-fledged 27-inch infotainment display. Moving on to the power output, the company's smaller EV6 that had dual electric motors made 576 hp, so it's pretty safe to assume that the EV9 will have a similar if not bigger output. As for the price, estimates suggest that the base model will start at $50,000 and will carry the exception Kia 10-year warranty.

Could the next James Bond movie feature an all-electric car? It sure could, provided that the Lagonda All-Terrain will have begun production by then. Aston Martin announced the ultra-luxurious EV as a concept car back in 2019, but we have yet to hear any news about it.

From the pictures released by Aston Martin, it's clear that the interior will be fairly spacious to the point it could fit at least four people with room for more. The adjustable seats make it look more like the inside of a fighter jet than a car! The price is yet another unknown aspect, but judging by the looks, the EV won't be affordable to most.

1 Lucid Air Sapphire

Tesla had a huge head start in the EV market as it was the only manufacturer for years before other automakers woke up to the reality that EVs are here to stay. That situation has now changed as there's growing competition from both new and existing automakers. One of the new automakers giving Tesla a run for its money is Lucid.

Lucid's first car - the Air - debuted in 2021, and it's already stealing a big share of Tesla's market. The Air has an elegant design that arguably looks better than any Tesla, superior build quality compared to Tesla, and when the tripple-motor Sapphire comes out in a few months, it will be quicker than the Tesla Model S Plaid.
