Barry Weiss is a master of many trades — after amassing a fortune alongside his brother in the wholesale produce industry, he would go on to become one of the most beloved car collectors in the hit A&E show Storage Wars. Weiss appeared in the show’s pilot episode and was a regular member of the cast for the first four seasons. In that time, Weiss’ car collection is estimated to be worth over $500,000, and the man has no shortage of style. His penchant for finding wicked rides and rare parts was so widely renowned that it earned him the nickname “The Collector” among buyers and viewers alike.

Over the years, Barry Weiss has curated a collection of cars and bikes most people could only dream of. Packed with vintage classics and modern rides, his garage is made up of countless custom vehicles designed by a diverse group of experts. From the old-school cool of the Zephyr to the new world style of his custom Moto Guzzi, there’s no limit to the amazing rides this mogul can get his hands on.

If you’ve ever been curious, here’s an inside look at 10 of the sickest rides you’ll find in Barry Weiss’ garage.

10 1947 Cowboy Cadillac

Considered one of the most famous vehicles in the city of Los Angeles, this custom 1947 Cowboy Cadillac is nearly synonymous with the one and only collector. According to Weiss, this instantly recognizable ride, “Will never be for sale.”

Boasting a powerful 502 Big Block, the Cowboy Caddy sports around 400 horsepower and packs a huge punch out on the open road. This beast was built and designed by California-based legend Frank DeRosa, who specializes in customizing classic Cadillacs (and other wild creations such as “The King of Mercs”).

9 1995 Beatnik Custom Hot Rod

Weiss invested a full three years into this one-of-a-kind hot rod, and the results don’t disappoint! The chassis of a 1955 Ford was used as the Beatnik’s foundation, and custom car builder Gary Chopin pulled out all the stops to give it a truly original look. Fun fact: the Beatnik is considered the largest bubble top car in the world!

Blending a futuristic interior with inspiration from Ed “Big Daddy” Roth’s original Beatnik Bandit, this design uses a Cadillac front end on an all-metal body. The exposed engine adds a little extra flair to the car’s overall aesthetic!

8 1940 Ford COE

Also known as the Red International Truck, the “cab engine cover” Ford is believed to be Weiss’ all-time favorite vehicle — which makes sense, as it makes an appearance in almost every episode of Storage Wars.

This 1940 model has the cab seated over or forward of the truck’s front axle, and Ford’s been refining the style for decades. In true Barry Weiss fashion, the style fuses vintage and futuristic aesthetics for a bit of bubbly and a whole lot of '50s cool.

7 Moto Guzzi 750

This bike is one for the history books! Weiss had this Moto Guzzi 750 customized by Pro Italia, a dealership and custom garage with over 34 years of service to bikers all over California.

This bike started as a more modern Moto Guzzi V7, and Weiss spared no expense in reimagining this work of art. The design is inspired by dustbin racers of the 1950s, and it’s said that there are more handcrafted pieces on the bike than you can count!

6 Ducati Diavel

Ducati is known for producing motorcycles with massive power and unmistakable finesse, and this model in particular packs 162 horsepower with a top speed of nearly 170 mph. Naturally, there’s one hiding in Barry Weiss’ garage!

‘Hiding’ is absolutely the word to use in Weiss’ case — it debuted in Season 3 of Storage Wars, but information about this bike is hard to come across.

5 1969 Norton Commando

Weiss’ Norton is so wildly slick that it was named “Best of Show” in Cycle World’s Invitational Concours d’Elegance Birthday Bash. Customized by industry expert Kenny Dreer, this Commando features a killer “Lucky Devil” graphic splayed across the forest green fuel tank.

The four-stroke parallel-twin engine tucked underneath this custom 750 Fastback boasts a top speed of 58 horsepower, and the body was fitted with a custom bracket to accommodate a larger battery.

4 1987 Jaguar XJ8

The Jag is a force to be reckoned with, especially the XJ8. The only known supercar in Weiss’ collection, it was worth around $94,000 upon release. This two-door model is quite formidable, equipped with a V12 engine that can do 0-60 in just under 7 seconds. Not bad for its age!

As beautiful as it is, this Jaguar hasn’t been spotted in recent years; there’s no telling why, but it’s a shame to not see it blazing trails on the highway anymore.

3 1957 Ford Ranchero

The Ranchero is classified as a coupe utility vehicle, adding a truck bed to the existing two-door cab vehicle style. For Barry Weiss, this first-generation classic is just another piece of beautifully preserved (and updated) history.

The Y block V8 is fitted onto a 116” wheelbase, slightly shorter than most others of its kind. This particular coupe is one of the very first models of Ranchero, which ran from 1957 to 1959.

2 1939 Lincoln Zephyr Coupe

Truly a sight to behold, Weiss scored this mean, clean, Batmobile-inspired machine for dirt cheap! The 1939 Zephyr was valued at $300,000, but The Collector scored it for $60,000 at an auction back in 2013.

Weiss’ Zephyr houses a powerful V12 engine and a three-speed transmission, and it’s outfitted with an insane flamethrower exhaust. Since it was in relatively good shape at the time of the auction, Weiss mostly focused on visual modifications to breathe new life into the vehicle.

1 Maserati GranTurismo

The collector will go to any length to scope out the most incredible rides on the market, and Weiss' Maserati Granturismo is one of his finest finds so far! The engine was built in collaboration with Ferrari, giving it impeccable power and a killer sound to boot.

This elegant whip goes for around $50,000, and the power under the hood is worth every penny. With 400 hp and a top speed right around 177 mph, this is arguably one of the strongest contenders in his garage.
