10 2020 Mini Electric Cooper
The Mini is among the pioneers in the EV field and it is no doubt that with the accolade, it will want to be a step further compared to the rest. It is estimated that the three-door Mini will have a 200-mile range before a visit to a charging stop. What’s more is that they will use the BMW i3s 181-horsepower electric motor that will produce 107 horsepower and provide acceleration of 0-60 mph in under 7 seconds according to Green Car Reports. It will use the 42 kWh battery pack like the one used in the 2018 model and with the use of a fast DC charger, in 40 minutes, 80% of your battery will be charged. For a price of $34,445, you will be able to drive it home.
9 2020 Mercedes Benz EQC
The Mercedes family has not been left out in the 2020 EVs crossover. Mercedes presents its first all-electric car, which is an SUV. The car will use an 80-kWh battery pack, and the consumption will range from 22.2 kW of power per 60 miles driven, according to Driving. The car will boast one of the fastest charging features with under 40 minutes translating to 80% battery charge. In addition, the SUV will use two-electric motors that will generate horsepower in excess of 400. All that will be bundled to achieve an acceleration of 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds. A range of over 280 miles is expected. To own one, you’ll need over $70,000 in your bank account.
8 2020 Bollinger B1
For this beast, a blend of military aesthetic, power, and performance have all been made into one. The all-electric truck is a 4-wheel drive masterpiece that uses a 120kWh battery pack, and with it comes an acceleration of 0-60 in 4.5 seconds! In addition, the car can take up to 7,500 pounds of tow weight. A range of 200 miles is promised on one charge. To put the success rate into perspective, by January 2019, as per their Twitter page, they had 25,000 reservations confirmed. This space-age automobile is projected to go for about $260,000.
7 2020 Kia Soul EV
2018 Los Angeles Auto Show saw the debut of this marque. The car will have a 70-kWh battery pack, making it the best in battery size as compared to the other two produced prior. It will be able to produce 201 horsepower. The car will boast a distinct design, bleeding-edge technology, and will have one of the most advanced lighting systems available according to Kia. The Kia Soul needed to produce better range as compared to the other prior models. We are talking about a difference of 93 miles from the 2016 Soul EV model and 111 miles from the 2018 Soul EV model. For the 2020 model, a range of 243 miles will be achieved.
6 2020 Porsche Taycan
This sleek four-door sports car is an all-electric car that will boast performance, speed, and practicality. The two motor design will provide in excess of a thunderous 600 horsepower and an acceleration speed of 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. In all the EVs produced, this looks like one of the major threats to the Tesla Model S. The high-speed charging is another feature that cannot go unnoticed in this marque. Charging rates of up to 350kWh using the 800-volt technology is what Porsche Taycan will boast about. In a span of 20 minutes, an 80 percent charge will be possible. The range projected for this Porsche is 310 miles, and the estimated price starts at $75,000.
5 2020 Mercedes Benz Esprinter
Another all-electric Mercedes will be in the market next year. This time, it’s the cargo van. It will be offered in two batteries capacities. One will be the 41kWh that will have a 71.5-mile range and the 55kWh that will offer a 93.2-mile range. These are meant for short deliveries folks! Anyway, the 41kWh will have a top speed of 71 mph and can take a load of up to 1,040 kg while the 55kWh can clock a top speed of 93 mph and can take a load of up to 900 kg. Its 7.2 kW onboard charging will take you 6 to hours as opposed to the DC Combo charger which would take 45 minutes. This van could cost you more than $40,000.

4 2020 Rimac C_Two
Rimac has only been in the scene since 2009, but the big moves they have made so far are incredible. With the $2.1M Rimac C_Two release expected, consumers can't wait to get behind the wheel and enjoy the features. To start with, the car uses 120kWh battery capacity, with the car boasting a fast charging speed of 80% capacity in less than 30 minutes. It will produce a pounding 1,914 horsepower. All its wheels will have their own electric motors. This means that the acceleration levels will be abnormally high—high enough in the sense of 0-60 mph in 1.85 seconds, with a top speed of 258 mph! All this will be done in the 408 miles’ range provided by Rimac as claimed by Carbuzz.
3 2020 Polestar 2
This is the first EV car from the Volvo automakers. As opposed to the Polestar 1 which was a plug-in hybrid coupe, the Polestar 2 is an all-electric sedan. Rivaling the Tesla Model 3 is one of the missions this sedan is set to accomplish. Polestar claims that, to improve stiffness, a 78-kWh battery pack will be integrated. The pack will have two electric motors powered at once for one axle each. The combination enables this sedan to produce 408 horsepower and leave the car with an acceleration rate of 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds. The five-seater Polestar will provide over 275 miles of range between charging stops. It will be estimated to cost $63,000 when it debuts two years from now.
2 2020 Rivian R1T
Top Speed describes this beast as being ‘quicker than the Huracan and as off-road capable as a Land Rover’. And here’s the reason; according to the company, the Rivian will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3 seconds, and this is achieved by the three versions of battery packs ranging from the largest having 180kWh capacity and a range of 400 miles, and smaller versions of 135kWh having a 300-mile range, and 105kWh having a 230-mile range. All these power each wheel’s motor, all of which work together to produce in excess of 800 horsepower. This marque will be known for performance and speed, and it will retail at more than $61,500.
