10 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback

The 1967 Ford Mustang was offered in three varying body styles consisting of the coupe, convertible, and Fastback. The 1967 Fastback has the most unique body design and featured the most intimidating rear bumper. Staying true to muscle car culture, the Fastback has a chrome rear bumper that runs the entire distance of the rear end.

The 1967 Fastback was offered with six differing engine types, the fastest being the 390ci FE V8 producing 303 base horsepower and 390-pound feet of torque. The most famous Fastback of course is the Shelby GT 500 Fastback "Eleanor" from the movie, "Gone in 60 Seconds." The taillights complement the mean look of the rear bumper, with a unique verticle design.

9 Pagani Zonda

The Pagani Zonda is out of the vast majority of people's budget at $1.4 million dollars but is a true work of art when you stop to look at the design. The rear end is especially brilliant with the quad exhaust gathered together in the center of the rear end, showing futuristic style.

The rear bumper of the Zonda has the signature "Zonda" name with a nod toward the trim level of the individual Zonda. The Pagani Zonda is offered with a 6.0 – 7.0 L Mercedes-Benz M120 V12 or a 6.9 – 7.3 L Mercedes-Benz M297 V12. The Zonda F offers 594 base horsepower and 561-pound feet of torque. The Pagani Zonda is a vehicle you will probably only view from behind if you are lucky enough to see one on the streets.

Japanese design through and through, the R34 looks menacing from behind especially in the dark. The circular taillights are synonymous with the GT-R name. Styling doesn't stop with the taillights, however, and continues with the unique cut of the trunk. The rear bumper itself is straight, producing a box-like look to the Skyline.

7 Audi R8

6 Lexus LFA

The LFA is one of the most underrated vehicles in history. There are fewer and fewer people who even know the LFA exist, which is understandable with only 500 ever produced. Lexus limited the release to 20 LFA's per month, ensuring the LFA's rarity.

The LFA has a unique rear bumper that outlines the tri-exhaust placed in a unique upsidedown triangle pattern. The huge vents on either side of the rear help increase the intensity of the rear taillights and the overall intimidating rear-end facia.

5 Lamborghini Countach S

No other car manufacturer in the world was making such futuristic-looking vehicles in the late '80s when Lamborghini released the Countach S. The Countach is seemingly straight from the future with a spaceship esque design and an engine powerhouse to match.

The Countach LP500 S is equipped with a V12 producing 370 horsepower and 308-pound  feet of torque. With a quad exhaust protruding from the bottom of the Countach Lamborghini is making a statement that their focus is both on design and performance.

4 Ferrari LaFerrari FXX-K Evo

The Ferrari FXX-K Evo is a track-only Ferarri built specifically to be run hard. Ferarri only made a handful of the FXX-K Evo's and only offered them to specific individuals who were willing to drive them hard and often on a track. The FXX-K Evo is powered by a 6.3 L naturally aspirated F140 V12, paired with a 188 horsepower electric motor producing a total of 1,036 horsepower.

The FXX-K Evo is Ferrari's research and development vehicle and is based on Ferrari's first hybrid offering the LaFerrari. The added K in the name is in reference to the vehicle's kinetic energy recovery system (KERS). This Ferrari is on our list due to its very aggressive rear diffuser and overall meanness of the rear of the car.

3 McLaren P1 GTR

The McLaren P1 is an astonishing car in its own right, but McLaren took the P1 a step further with the P1 GTR launched in 2015. The P1 GTR  is advertised as a track-focused driver's car, which is held in truth through the previous McLaren GTR's impressive 24 hour Le Mans win twenty years earlier in 1995.

There were only 58 P1 GTR's made and they were outfitted with 986 horsepower, making the P1 GTR McLaren's most hardcore track-oriented vehicle to date. The P1 GTR can hit a top speed of 225 mph and do 0-60 in 2.4 seconds. The rear bumper of this McLearn is arguably the most hardcore rear end on this list, or even in the world today.

2 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Split Window
