Across eight generations, the Chevrolet Corvette, by virtue of its amazing design and phenomenal performance characteristics, has been the quintessential American supercar. At almost seventy years old, the Corvette has evolved with the times and is now better than ever with its latest iteration, the C8.

A powerful and amazingly designed car, the Corvette ranks as among the best sports cars in the world today, capable of standing toe to toe with its European rivals on the road or on track. Surprisingly, there are some individuals that feel their stock Corvette is not enough and will modify the car to look and perform better than the original.

In this article, we look at some of the most stunning examples of modded Vettes from the various generations of this venerable car. From widebody mods, customized creations to exotic tuner builds, the resulting cars have resulted in really astonishing Corvettes that would make Chevrolet proud.

1962 Convertible

It is seldom to see second-gen Corvettes modded due to their relative value and rarity. That is why it is a pleasant surprise to see this C2 convertible customized. Immediately noticeable is how the bumper, headlights, and grilles have been reshaped, along with the removal of its chrome bits. All in all, this is a good-looking customization that despite having much bodywork modification, the look actually works.
