10 Hummer H2

This model was released in 2003 and it was the biggest, baddest vehicle on the market. It drank gas like it was its only job, but it was acceptable because at the time, gas prices were low and the economy was thriving. It is one of the more ridiculous Hummers as it brands itself basically everywhere in the vehicle and it is not very fast either. The upside is that the interior was much more comfortable than the original H1 model, which is why many celebrities decided to fork over the cash to buy one for themselves.

9 Humvee

This was the original inspiration for the Hummer and is included in this ranking because the brand wouldn't be possible without the creation of this military vehicle. It first encountered combat during the invasion of Panama in 1989, after AM General signed its first military contract back in 1983. It was a tactical vehicle with off-roading capabilities that was as tough as any American. This company realized that they could increase their revenue by taking a civilian version of the monstrosity to market. Thus, the Hummer was created to help Americans in their quest to obtain bigger and better things.

8 Rod Hall's Racing H3

Rod Hall is a legend in the Baja 1000 races as he finds a way to finish and win the majority of them. He has outfitted an H3 as his choice of vehicle to race in the stock mini class, while his children are also Hummer fans who race in an H1 and H2. The stocky build combined with its ability to take a beating is what makes it perfect for these long off-roading races.

7 Hummer H3

The Hummer H3 was in production from 2006 until 2010 and was designed as a way to entice drivers to splurge on one of their luxury trucks the next time they needed a new vehicle. It came with a 242-hp engine and kept its four-wheel-drive capabilities. It could climb a sixteen-inch vertical wall and boasted luxury leather seats in its interior. This was the ultimate SUV, and with a better fuel economy than the H2, they had hoped it would perform better in the luxury car market.

6 Hummer H1

This was considered the civilian hummer and released by AM General until GM bought the company in 1999. Americans desired the raw power that could climb steep hillsides and tear through water. These were offered in five different body styles with wagons, open tops, and hardtops being the most popular sales. There were around 12,000 produced, but they were not built with comfort in mind. They focused instead on the cooler aspects of its abilities, like adding in features that allow it to run even on a flat tire.

5 Hummer HX

This fully electric vehicle is sold only in London and even though it carries the Hummer logo, it is not produced by GM. This electric monster was made by a company called My Electric Vehicle (MEV). They were granted a license under GM and are perfect for the London scene. They provide the tough look people desire while helping them avoid the congestion charge, which is a fee that is calculated based on how much your car pollutes. They can travel up to sixty miles on a full charge and they are fitted with electric disc brakes for maximum stopping power.

4 Hummer H2 Limo

You can still see these traversing the roadways after a big event and they can be hard to miss. They are big and bulky transport vehicles that can carry up to twenty passengers. It comes with leather seats and a raised ceiling for the ultimate party experience. 3 H3 Alpha

This vehicle may not be a speed demon on the roadway, but it is an off-roading monster. It can traverse any terrain with ease, even by the hands of an inexperienced driver. It was considered the luxury edition of the H3, so it came standard with chrome plating and a silver bumper. This Hummer also underwent another change though when compared to its basic counterpart.

They upgraded the steering system that allowed for better precision driving. The V8 engine they installed beneath the hood may not have been perfect due to its larger size and the stricter emission controls, but it did increase its towing capacity which sedated many customers.

2 NXT 360 Humvee

The NXT 360 Humvee comes as a surprise as this brand has not seen the light of day for several years. It made its debut in Paris back in 2018 and was made to withstand any unfortunate circumstances. It comes packed with a turbo-diesel engine and has been outfitted in a way that enhances its off-roading capabilities.

It is always a tragedy when our troops run over IEDs, but AM General hopes to change the outcome of those events with blast seats, kinetic energy threat protection, and upgraded exterior armor. It also can shoot off rounds from a cannon to help protect the troops it holds inside.

1 H1 Alpha

This was the best H1 on the market and for good reason. This vehicle is beyond rare as it was only released in 2006 and produced a mere 693 units. They came in wagon and hardtop varieties and held a Duramax V8 beneath its hood. This was the first Hummer to be given an automatic transmission and it changed the game forever. When it was compared to the basic H1 it was a huge leap in the right direction as its performance improved, as well as its comfort due to the additions of some much-needed interior TLC.
