Not everybody wants a Race Replica as their sole street bike. Many of us like other styles and more upright riding positions. In the 2020s one does not need to give up any performance at all and you can easily buy motorcycles with incredible power and handling in all forms of styles, including Scramblers, Standards, Naked Bikes, and Hyper-Naked Bikes.

Back a few years ago, you would have to build a bike like this, these days you can buy them ready to go with 100+ H.P. and well under 600 LB. wet weight. Every one of the bikes in this article would easily test your ability to hold the bars during acceleration.

A beautiful modern retro-looking motorcycle with well over 100 H.P.  A great middleweight bike capable of tight turns and plenty of speed. A fully modern high compression V-Twin that revs as a great engine should.

It's a very attractive bike as well and people forgive Polaris for burning Victory owners when they look at this bike. While it's not the fastest bike out there it's plenty fast and will keep up easily with a 600cc supersport.

A liter class R1 motor stuffed in a more relaxed platform. This is a streetfighter's dream and has more power than most people will use. Its lightweight makes it easy to drive fast and it can handle corners as well as anything else. It's a well-sorted bike that has been around for a few years, so parts are easily found. Notice the split exhaust underneath that increases midrange torque, that makes the bike a little more fun coming off the line.

Ducati Panigale V4 power stuffed in an ugly naked bike. Ok, the bike is kind of homely, but if you want insane speed this is a great ride. The S model comes with a nice wheel option and some minor tuning upgrades. The bike will set you back almost $40,000, but if you have the means to buy one, do so!

This is a hooligan bike with over 200 H.P. on a bike with a wet weight under 470 LB. If you can ride fast, the bike could click off incredible times in most classes you run. Notice the rider doing a wheelie doesn't look stressed, that's the bike doing the work for him.

Over 200 H.P. in a 600 LB. super-cruiser, a drag racers dream. This thing is also a wheelie monster as well. With shaft drive, it's designed for low maintenance. This is a very popular model in America and Britain, but it might be a little much for some riders. It's a straight-line speed bike that also is a decent handler built as a cruiser. The sound of that engine is delightful. This bike is made to take all comers for guys that like to drag race.

An honest 100 H.P. in a very lightweight parallel-twin hooligan bike. This bike is easy to ride fast because the weight is minimalist and it's centralized. BMW has made Supernaked Bikes using 4s in other years, this year it focused its naked segment on other concepts.

This is one of them. Keep in mind 100 H.P. and a wet weight under 500 LB. is equal to a CBR900RR from the 1990s, so you can imagine this is a very fast bike. Nice Brembo brakes and German Engineering and easy to maneuver.

A modern boxer Twin Retro Bike with almost 100 H.P. and a cool single-sided swingarm. This is a very beautiful motorcycle and it's for guys who like a classic look. We love the wire wheels and aluminum rims.

Being as that engine series is almost 30 years old, you know you can expect a long service life despite being air-cooled because it had almost 3 decades of development. This is a great bike for guys who like to ride long distances. When was the last time you saw gaiters installed on forks?

A naked CBR liter Streetfighter that you don't have to build yourself! Which parking lot will we be test-wheelieing at? Remember the days, when you had to build one from a tarnished road rash 900? Now you buy it that way!

Not for the faint of heart, this bike is a rocket. It's also very light and well-developed. Stylewise it hearkens back to the CB series of the early 1970s, particularly the CB400 bike, but upscaled a bit. Look at that beautiful single-sided swingarm! A very pretty bike with a simple form.

What can we say, other than it's a 200 H.P. supercharged naked bike? Well, maybe the obvious, that the boost on the supercharger could easily be tuned to make 300 H.P. or more. A supercharged liter-class engine making 200 H.P. is a low boost application for a long service life.

The bike will easily last 60,000 miles before a rebuild if you want to turn up the boost half a bar, do so at your own risk. While not the prettiest bike of the lot, the rider of this thing wants to go fast and the Ducati Streetfighter V4 series is the only match for it if the rider is competent.

This one kind of scared Suzuki who backed off making them as quickly as they started. It's got the standard Hayabusa engine that makes the same 183 H.P. in a much lighter chassis that is based on a smaller GSX 1000 chassis.

Originally, Suzuki was going to offer it as a supercharged or turbo model for another 75 H.P. but they got scared and dropped that scheme after several press releases promising the bike. Nevertheless, this bike is insanely fast and it's an easy bike to ride fast if you know what you are doing.

This particular example cut almost 30 LB of weight by using an abbreviated exhaust. You can still find these unsold from the 2018 year in certain dealerships.

Does the picture not say it all? A road-legal bike that is not much heavier than a single cylinder 4 stroke MX bike with an extra pot and double the power. Does that not sound like fun to you? Is that not the best-looking scrambler you've seen in a while? We love the tiny mudguard on the front fork.

If you get the 1200 C.C. version it's got a solid 89 H.P. and 81 Ft-LB of torque. You would crush it in certain off-road competitions. In the 1980s that was superbike power and this is a scrambler. Have your wheelies with your jumps.
