Pickup trucks are the essential four-wheelers, and for some reason, the USA just can't get enough of them. The love for these monster machines goes back all the way into the 19th century when the majority of people lived on farms. These guys needed help carrying things around so they first started using horses and wagons. Although this process worked, it was still kind of slow so some people got to thinking and decided to invent something better. Skip to a few decades later and the pickup was born, making life that little bit easier on the farm.

Pickups were instantly popular and began appearing all over the world, as well as the USA. Interestingly, some states have a higher number of pickups than others, with California raking in the most trucks with 24%.
