When we think of famous people we often think of fancy car collections. Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno are worth close to a billion each, and they each have impressive car collections that reflect their massive net worths. However, not every one of them has a huge car collection. In fact, some can’t even drive. Some personalities are happy being chauffeured around, while others are simply too scared to drive and therefore don’t.

There are some big names that don’t drive, but there are many others that do drive. However, there are some truly awful drivers in Hollywood. Some are so terrible behind the wheel that it is a shock that some of them are still on the road. We often hear about notable people getting into trouble after having too many and getting behind the wheel, and that should be enough to have their licenses taken away forever. There has been many of them who have gotten into terrible car incidents, sometimes because of their own reckless driving. When you total a car or multiple cars, that should be all the information you need to know that you’re better off not being on the highway.

There is a persistent myth going around that women are bad drivers, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. In fact, men are more likely to be involved in car accidents. In Hollywood, there are many famous males that can’t drive, and many more who shouldn’t drive. Here’s a look at 6 popular men who don’t drive, and 9 who shouldn’t drive.

15 Shouldn’t Drive: Justin Bieber

via YouTube

It seems there is a new story about Justin Bieber and his terrible driving just about every few months.

Back in 2014, he was in trouble in Miami for drag racing in a rented Lamborghini. He eventually accepted a plea bargain and was forced to pay for and star in an anti-drug public service announcement.

Bieber was also charged with dangerous driving after sideswiping a van with his ATV while vacationing with Selena Gomez in Canada. Bieber was reportedly driving his ATV on the road, which is not allowed in Ontario. These incidents should have been enough to get Bieber off the road for good.

14 Shouldn’t drive: Flo Rida

via hdwallsource.com

Rapper and songwriter Flo Rida has a very cool collection of cars. He owns just about every supercar and sports car you can think of. He has a Bentley, multiple muscle cars, numerous Lamborghinis and even a gold Bugatti. Wrapping the Veyron in gold should be enough to have his license taken away on the spot. It’s a terrible travesty.

In 2011, he was in trouble Miami after swerving through lanes in his Bugatti. When police issued a test, he was twice the legal limit. That’s an even better reason for Flo Rida to stay off the road.

13 Shouldn’t Drive: Eddie Griffin

via picsofcelebrities.com

Stand-up comedy superstar Eddie Griffin is a really bad driver, and there’s no way he should still be allowed on the road. The comedian is notorious when it comes to really bad driving. Eddie Griffin seems to go out of his way to be a bad driver.

He joked about being pulled over during one of his stand-up specials, and he even crashed a Ferrari Enzo while filming an advertisement for the box-office failure Redline.

That should be enough to keep him off the roads for good. After crashing the Ferrari Griffin simply joked: “Brother can’t drive.”

12 Doesn’t drive: Noel Gallagher

via theidleman.com

Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher is infamous for not being able to drive. The 47-year-old rocker has actually never had a driving lesson, according to The Sun. He has always been chauffeured around by someone else, or he has to take a cab to get where he is going.

“When I was first in Oasis and they started sending limousines, I thought: this is the life,” he said during an interview with Q Magazine. “But coming here today, sitting in the back of a car, I thought: How can I not drive? I am nearly 50. That’s embarrassing.”

11 Shouldn’t drive: Kelsey Grammer

via youtube

Kelsey Grammer oozes sophistication. From his iconic role of Frasier on Cheers and Frasier to his epic portrayal of Opera-loving Sideshow Bob on The Simpsons, Grammer is famous for being classy and cultured.

However, he’s not famous for being a good driver. In fact, it's probably the opposite.

In 1996, Grammer flipped his beautiful red Dodge Viper, which he received as a gift from NBC for his work on two of the most successful sitcoms ever to air on the network.

10 Doesn't drive: Ricky Gervais

via shortlist

Stand-up comedian and the Office co-creator Ricky Gervais has no interest in driving. He simply prefers to be driven around everywhere. That’s not really too surprising considering he seems like the type of guy who loves to be pampered.

Gervais was rumored to be a possible host for Top Gear after Jeremy Clarkson left, but that turned out to be totally false. “I cannot even drive, and I very rarely wear a jacket with jeans and brogues. So I wouldn’t fit in,” Gervais said about his possible turn on Top Gear. Surprisingly, he was still hired to be a spokesperson for Audi even though he can’t drive.

9 Shouldn’t drive: George Lucas

via youtube

It may seem odd to put George Lucas on this list considering he has such a strong love and passion for cars. His car collection is one of the most legendary in all of Hollywood, and the Star Wars creator even made a movie idolizing car culture.

However, just because he directed American Graffiti, that doesn't mean that he’s a good driver. He has been in many incidents. During a fundraiser race in 2007, he crashed into his opponents.

Thankfully, this was on the track and not on the street. He at least gets points for that. He always wanted to be a race car driver instead of a director, but a near fatal crash when he was in high-school caused him to abandon that dream. The crash during his youth was not his fault, however. The same can't be said for his crash on the track.

8 Shouldn’t drive: Billy Joel

via youtube

The Piano Man is a whiz with many musical instruments, but he is not so adept behind the wheel. It doesn't matter if it has two wheels or four wheels, Joel will find a way to wreck it. The musician wrecked a Citroën 2CV, lost control of his '67 Charleston Citroën, back in 2004, and also wrecked cars in 2002 and 2003.

He even had a motorcycle incident back in 1983. The sheer amount of times Joel has crashed is somewhat impressive in a frightening way. His 2004 incident was so crazy that it actually involved a house. Maybe it’s time he just stopped driving.

7 Doesn’t drive: Charlie Watts

via flashbak.com

Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts owns four vintage cars, but he can’t even drive them. That’s somewhat disappointing. If you had some nice classic cars in your garage wouldn't you want to drive them? Watts is known for being a bit eccentric, so it’s not really too much of a surprise that he owns cars he can’t even drive.

He has many other hobbies including being a classy expensive clothes expert, horse-breeder, record producer, and art and antique collector. He reportedly has suits that match every single one of his cars.

Talk about strange. Who else has a matching outfit for their car?

6 Shouldn't drive: Cristiano Ronaldo

via chano8.com

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is lucky to be alive after he was involved in a truly horrific event in 2009 when he was playing for Manchester United. Surprisingly, he escaped the incident without a single scratch on him. His Ferrari 599 wasn’t so lucky.

The car was absolutely totaled, and it was so bad that Ronaldo almost became uninsurable. Ronaldo plowed into a roadside barrier in a Manchester Tunnel, and that was the end of his amazing supercar. He escaped with his life thankfully.

5 Doesn’t drive: Robbie Williams

via gazettereview.com

Pop star Robbie Williams not only doesn't drive, but he has never taken a driver’s test. He is quite happy to simply take cabs everywhere he goes.

He says that the London traffic is simply too much for him to handle, so we can see why he doesn’t want to drive and has never bothered to learn.

He’s not too broken up about not being able to drive, but he does regret never getting his license – at least a little bit. However, he still loves cars, and Williams is reportedly a huge Formula 1 racing fan.

4 Shouldn’t drive: Kevin Hart

via youtube

Kevin Hart was in trouble for having too many in 2013 after California Highway Patrol pulled him over for driving erratically. According to police reports, he almost sideswiped a tanker truck after his dangerous ride. He is frankly lucky to be alive. However, if you are that irresponsible on the road you should never drive again.

Hart blew twice the legal limit on a breathalyzer test. He ended up with three years probation and three months of alcohol education classes. He probably shouldn’t ever be allowed to drive again since he was so irresponsible.

3 Doesn’t drive: Albert Einstein

via youtube

Albert Einstein preferred to bike everywhere he went. This peaceful mode of transportation helped him think and allowed him to solve famous equations like E=MC squared.

Einstein couldn’t drive at all, and he couldn’t swim either. However, he did love to sail, which seems dangerous if you don’t know how to swim.

Einstein probably didn’t really need to drive at all, so it wasn’t a setback in any way whatsoever. Einstein was very skilled at riding a bicycle, and possibly new he wouldn't be any good at driving a car.

2 Shouldn’t drive: Nick Bollea

via Huffington Post

Nick Bollea is famous for only two things: being Hulk Hogan’s son and being involved in a truly horrific car accident. He served jail time for his reckless driving which resulted in his friend, who was in the passenger seat at the time of the accident, being seriously injured and suffering massive brain damage.

Bollea was over the legal limit and racing his Toyota Supra. Despite this, he still enjoys collecting vintage cars. Most people would be extremely scarred after a horrible accident like the one Bollea was involved in, and many would probably give up on automobiles as a hobby altogether.

1 Doesn't drive: Ray Bradbury

via curiosityneverkilledthewriter.com

Ray Bradbury changed science fiction forever, but he didn't do so in a car. The author of Fahrenheit 451 and the Martian Chronicles had an impressive career as a novelist, but he didn’t drive. He didn’t even ever get a driver’s license.

“The automobile is the most dangerous weapon in our society—cars kill more than wars do,” he once said. He witnessed a terrible car crash in his youth, and he was traumatized ever since then.

The crash killed six people and he could barely walk home because he was so shaken up by the terrible accident. He never drove once in his entire life.
