Lamborghini has produced several track-only supercars that are not meant for professional racing. From the 40 units of 1999 Diablo GTR, that came with a 6-liter V12 producing 590-horsepower, to the limited-edition Sian FKP 37, that churns out some 807 horsepower from an electric motor and a 48-volt electrical system.

The Aventador SVR track-only edition is the third car to receive this sought-after badge. Lamborghini made the first SVR model in 1968. It was a sole unit of the Miura Jota SVR requested by a customer. The second model of SVR was the Diablo SV-R, which is more similar to the newest edition. There were 31 models made of the Diablo SV-R, which was a successor of the Diablo SV.

The mysterious Aventador is not so mysterious anymore. Here are 15 sick pictures of the Lamborghini Aventador SVR Track-Only Edition. We'll also give you a glimpse at some of its details.

Its marque's signature naturally aspirated engine will surely need some cooling, but that will not be a problem anymore. The 6.5 liter V12 mid-engine is kept cool by the air entering from the noticeable roof scoop. The V12 is beyond expectations. It produces an impressive amount of horsepower and torque.

5 Engine Power

3 Not For The Streets

It seems like street-legalization is not part of the plan. Its emissions and noise will not be restricted by law. It receives some pretty wild styling because it is not limited by safety for road driving. As far as its aerodynamics enhancement goes, the SVR became more aggressive with its power boost.

2 Amazing Driving Capabilities

This super car exhibits some amazing cornering skills, which is a result of the electronically controlled self-locking differentials, which is a common technology found in World Endurance Championship race cars. As a result, the car delivers a one-of-a-kind driving experience. It is sad to think that the public roads will not be graced by this breed.
