Itsjusta6Itsjusta6 YouTube channel is a great example of the hard work and dedication it takes to get street credibility in the automotive racing world. In his latest video, the host proves this yet again. The video begins with him telling us it is 7:30 in the morning and that he has just had a blowout on his trailer. Inside the trailer are his Chevrolet C7 and ZL1 Corvettes and as he informs us he should probably remove the cars before lifting the trailer but since it is 7 in the morning he decides to skip that step and try to lift the trailer with his jack.
On The Edge
Taking off the blown-out tire doesn't seem too much of a struggle. Getting the new wheel on, however, does not go as smoothly. Of course, the blown-out tire was missing an essential part, the air, and this makes the new wheel much larger. Our presenter is missing about a half-inch to get the tire on, even after jacking the trailer as high as it would go. With some luck and great engineering know-how (he kicks it into place) he can get the new wheel on and get back into his new Ford SuperDuty Platinum and get back to his 12-hour trip to CSP to get new cams for his two vehicles.
Country Roads
Unlike other YouTubers who show the glamour and glitz of their car life, itsjusta6 loves to document all the hiccups he encounters, making for interesting viewing. In Pennsylvania, our host tells us that this state may be home to the most peculiar roads in the world. He pulls over to the side lane a mere couple of feet before telling us that the trailer won't fit.
Next, he lets us know there was no warning, and that he will have to now block a highway to turn around. He eventually gets free and continues to display his frustration at how different Pennsylvania roads are.
You Have Reached Your Destination
Coincidentally, itsjusta6 reaches its destination at the 6-minute mark in the video. We meet Andrew from CSP at this point and he shows us a couple of the cars he is currently working on as well as his Tesla Model X Plaid. It isn't long before they are launching the Tesla to see how quick it is. Our host is not disappointed but would love to see how well a 1000 Horsepower C8 Corvette fairs against the Tesla.
Luckily for us, Andrew, has a 1000 HP Corvette C8 he is working on at the shop! At 15:30 in the video, the Tesla pulls up next to the twin-turbo Corvette and they both punch it. Immediately the Tesla pulls away from the Corvette. No contest. The culprit, according to our host, was the grip. The Corvette spins its tires even in fourth gear. These are both amazing cars, but the EV's all-wheel drive and instant electric power are too much for the Vette.
