The XLR has similar features to a Mercedes SL 500 but is no longer available. The American manufacturer made the vehicle beginning in 2003 and halted production in 2009. The luxury car featured a retractable hardtop roof, and Cadillac regarded it as the company's flagship sports car. Jordan stated the XLR was his first American car to hit his collection.

The standard XLR came with a 4.6-liter V8 engine that pumps out 320 horsepower while the supercharged XLR-V made 443 hp. The car's transmission was either a 5-speed or 6-speed automatic. The XLR was nominated for the North American Car of the Year award in 2004. Cadillac manufactured only 15,000 units during the six-year production run.

When you're a big star like Jordan, you can have your vehicle specially made. The Aston Martin DB7 Volante that Jordan received was a special order for him, as the manufacturer delivered the vehicle to him in a Rannoch red color in combination with Parchment interior. Besides having incredible aesthetics, the DB7 Volante is a performance vehicle as it has a 5.9-liter V-12 engine that spurts out 420 horsepower.

The English manufacturer produced the vehicle from 1994 till 2004 and made 7,000 vehicles. The DB9 replaced the DB7, and Jordan had to get the latest model since he had the money.

We've noticed a common pattern in Jordan's selection of cars. He likes sports cars that can perform. Although the CL 65 might not be the most expensive vehicle in Jordan's garage, it may be the most powerful. The German vehicle has a 6-liter V-12 engine with two turbochargers that have the power to push out 604 horsepower. Jordan's model was a 2005. Back then, the car could reach 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. The other pattern we noticed about Jordan's selection is the luxury. While the other vehicles try to offer speed and luxury, none come close to the luxury that Jordan felt in the CL 65.

Considering that the DB7 went out of production and Jordan loved the car, he decided to get the next best thing. If you think the DB9 is an excellent car, it was more remarkable when Jordan bought it in the early 2000s. The early models remained more or less the same as the DB7.

Aston Martin made significant changes to the 2013 model by upgrading the design, the performance, and the driving experience. The car had a 5.9-liter V-12 engine, the same as the DB7. The car has a top speed of 183 mph and reaches 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds.

18 Owned: Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1

The Corvette ZR-1 was a Corvette that could run with the top sports cars from Italy at less than half their prices. Jordan bought his during the early stage of his career. Although not the most extravagant car on the list, the Corvette ZR-1 that Jordan got was also a 40th Anniversary Edition. The latter package was available on standard Corvettes too and consisted of special dark red paint and of course badges. Chevrolet manufactured only 220 ZR-1s with the 40th anniversary package.

The Corvette ZR-1 itself was also limited in production and, depending on the year, boasted either 375- or 405-horsepower from its exotic DOHC, 32-valve V8 engine that was designed in collaboration with Lotus. The American car manufacturer released only about 7,000 C4 ZR-1s throughout the cars six year model run. Jordan bought more expensive vehicles as the paychecks became bigger.

Jordan's career launched when the Bulls drafted him in the early '80s. Fans started taking notice of his extraordinary skills, and so did car manufacturers.

Chevrolet signed a deal with Jordan to have him star in a series of its commercials. The American manufacturer thanked Jordan for his service by presenting him with a medium grey metallic Chevrolet C4 Vette. The number plates state "Jump 23," which was Jordan's nickname. The American manufacturer made the 4th generation Corvette (hence "C4") from 1984 to 1996, and the standard version has a top speed of around 155 mph while the ZR-1 can hit 175 mph. The C4 was available as a convertible or as a Targa top.

Jordan loved his Ferrari, which we often saw him drive. Although enthralled with the Italian manufacturer, Jordan had an affinity for Porsches.

Jordan owned the 930, 964, and 993 models during his NBA career. Interestingly, the inspiration for the pattern design of the Air Jordan VI sneakers was from the Porsche he owned. The German manufacturer has manufactured the sports car since 1963 and managed to keep it in production till today. Porsche has put the 911 through continuous development throughout the years, and the car was ranked fifth in an international poll to determine the Car of the Century.

Jordan always stayed ahead of the pack, not only in basketball but also in the car game. It seems that Jordan buys cars that have been in production for a few decades. That's a wise choice. While most of us were unfamiliar with the Range Rover, Jordan was driving the vehicle.

The English manufacturer has produced the Range Rover since 1970 and has kept it on the road since. The car is a full-sized luxury sports utility vehicle. Currently, the vehicle is in its fourth generation. Since 2009, Land Rover has sold more than 300,000 Ranger Rovers through 2016.

When you're a big star like Jordan, you want to be seen even when driving. Maybe that's one of the reasons Jordan liked convertibles. The SL 55 AMG was perfect for him, as the German vehicle allowed the NBA star to feel comfortable in a big car.

The German manufacturer began producing the SL series as the R230 model. It used that model as a base to redesign the series from 2001 to 2011. Mercedes manufactured the SL55 from 2003 to 2006 with an engine that pumped out 493 horsepower. In the 2006 to 2008 models, the engine pumped out 510 horsepower.

"TR" stands for "Testarossa." The model wasn't the most extravagant car the Italian manufacturer made, but it was one of Jordan's favorites. The vehicle is a modified version, which Jordan loved and paid $212,000 for in the early '90s. That's a lot of money to pay for a car of that era.

The Italian manufacturer made the vehicle from 1984 to 1996. Although not a beautiful car, the TR is fast, as it has a 4.9-liter, 12-cylinder mid-engine. The car has a 5-speed manual transmission. Ferrari produced almost 10,000 Testarossas, making it one of the mass-produced Ferrari models.

The perk of being a big star and having money is that you can buy special-edition vehicles that most of the world can only wish to obtain. The McLaren 722 Edition is the third Mercedes featured from Jordan's garage.

This model is an upgraded version with an engine that can spurt out 650 horsepower instead of the 617 horsepower that the standard model delivered. The other feature that the German manufacturer changed on the special edition is a suspension stiffer than the standard model. This suspension lowered the vehicle closer to the ground.

During the early stages of Jordan's career, he had to settle for cheaper vehicles, such as the Corvette. When Jordan saw an increase in his bank balance, he veered toward European exotic cars. He stumbled upon the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. As with all of the other vehicles Jordan owned, the 599 GTB Fiorano is fast.

The car has a V12 engine that can deliver 612 horsepower. The car was Ferrari's front-engine, two-seat flagship, but F12 Berlinetta replaced the car in 2013. Ferrari named the model "599" for its engine displacement: 5,999 cc. The Italian manufacturer debuted the vehicle in 2006.

When we say that he wishes he owned the vehicle, it doesn't mean that the billionaire superstar can't afford the vehicle. We mean that he was too busy to buy one of these vehicles but should get around to it soon.

The Ford F-series pickup has been the bestselling vehicle in the U.S. since the late '80s. The pickup is also the bestselling vehicle in Canada. In 2010, Ford introduced its second high-performance pickup, the SVT Raptor. The American manufacturer made the car primarily for off-road use. Still, drivers have found it to be valuable on all terrains.

Jordan was obsessed with sports cars, and we feel that he missed out on some great SUVs. Since Jeep is the beloved American manufacturer known for making some of the best SUVs in the world, we suggest that Jordan take a look at the latest Wrangler.

Jeep has manufactured the Wrangler since 1986 as a four-wheel-drive off-road vehicle. The American manufacturer is in the process of migrating from the third to the fourth generation. Since Jeep sells, on average, 200,000 units a year in the States, Jordan can take pleasure in knowing that he's buying a reliable vehicle.

Considering Jordan loves sports cars, especially those produced by German manufacturers, we couldn't leave the R8 off the list. The German sports car is impressive, considering it reaches 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. Under the bonnet is a 5.2-liter V-10 engine that pumps out 610 horsepower. The car's top speed is 205 mph.

The standard vehicle has a seven-speed automatic transmission with 4G LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi hotspot capability. The only drawback of the car is the fuel consumption. In the city, Jordan will get 14 mpg and 22 mpg on the highway. The car's base price is $140,000.

7 Wishes: Ford Mustang GT

More celebrities should buy Ford Mustangs. After all, the American manufacturer makes the bestselling vehicle in the U.S. The Mustang GT is the epitome of muscle cars and performs at a speed that Jordan is used to with his English and German sports cars.

The 2019 model has a 5-liter V-8 engine that kicks out 460 horsepower. Considering Jordan buys vehicles that have been in production for decades, he should buy a Mustang GT since Ford has made the vehicle since 1965. The car has a 10-speed SelectShift Automatic transmission, which is the best automatic in a Mustang that Ford fitted.

6 Wishes: McLaren P1

Jordan owned a limited-edition 722 McLaren Mercedes. That was before McLaren produced civilian vehicles. The P1 is a plug-in hybrid sports car that the British manufacturer built in 2013. The vehicle has a 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged V-8 engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch.

If Jordan had to buy the P1, he would take great delight in knowing that it would be the fastest vehicle he's owned since the car pumps out a total of 903 horsepower. The car goes from 0 to 60 in 2.7 seconds and has a top speed of 217 mph. The car has a base price of more than $1 million.

5 Wishes: Lamborghini Huracan

If Jordan had to sit in a Huracan, he wouldn't think about owning another vehicle. The car has a 5.2-liter V-10 engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The all-wheel-drive vehicle is a delight to own. What more could Jordan ask from a vehicle than to reach 0 to 60 mph in 2.3 seconds? The car has a top speed of 202 mph, and the engine pumps out 631 horsepower. Considering that Jordan is a billionaire, he'll have no problems forking out at least $200,000 for the Huracan.

4 Wishes: Bugatti Veyron

via Steem Kr

The only reason that Jordan should own this car is to show off and indicate to Mayweather that he's not the only one who can afford the lavish vehicle. The car has ridiculously high fuel consumption. The quad-turbocharged engine only gets 8 mpg in the city and 14 mpg on the highway.

The engine pumps out a whopping 1,001 horsepower and reaches 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds. The Veyron's top speed is a staggering 253 mph. Although Jordan is rich, we're not sure that he won't have an issue forking out $2 million for the vehicle.

3 Wishes: Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing

One of the rarest cars in the world is the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing. Only 1,400 examples exist, and they don't come up for auction very often. Now it's well-known that Jordan is a fan of Mercedes, so the 300 SL Gullwing would be a natural great fit in such a luxurious collection.

It is an uber-expensive car at an average price of $1.5 million. Still, a superstar like Michael Jordan could easily drop that kind of money to scoop one up. Don't be surprised if he picks one up to close out his collection!
