It seems that not even muscle cars are exempt from acts of vandalism in America, no matter how appreciated and important they are to the overall car culture. These machines have been around since the mid-20th century, and our love and passion for them has grown ever since. Suffice to note that the first-ever performing muscle car to roll off the production line was the Rocket 88 in 1949.

The most beloved of these cars were manufactured in the '60s through '70s though, most of which carried around massive V8 overhead valve engines. And it has taken a mammoth undertaking for carmakers to arrive at the sleek, powerful, street-legal monsters of today. So it is really disheartening to see such legendary machines vandalized at the whims of irresponsible brutes.
