Started off as a regular bodybuilder, Arnold Schwarzenegger today remains the humble man who worked his way up to the $400 million net worth he is now. Like most people who attained this kind of fortune, he had to go through two things. Those are usually a lot of work and a few scandalous news of some sort. He also once admitted to using anabolic steroids to maintain the size of his muscles. But this was all at the time when steroids were still legal.

With over 20 bodybuilding competitions in his career and over 10 titles, who knew bigger doors were meant to open for young Arnold? He later became a successful actor that allowed him to win numerous Hollywood awards. Unlike most people who would stop and stay in the industry to star in films, Arnold also became a governor and a good one at that. He also authored his own book. Though much happened in his run, Arnold these days has his own website, frequently posts on his social media, and has a collection of neat cars that include the following.

15 Tesla Roadster

via Motor1

Before Tesla became what it is today and rolled out its first Model S, it had the Roadster. No, this is not the Tesla Roadster you've been reading about in automotive news. The first version of the Roadster was actually a massive flop. It was still a fully electric car, but its performance was laughable compared to the new model, producing 248 horsepower. Still, the price Arnold had to pay to get his environmentally friendly little roadster was over $100,000 - and he did.

14 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz

Arnold got hold of the Eldorado Biarritz around the time he was still making a name for himself. It had that classic look that was common in the cars of the rich and famous at the time. The front fascia was also as chunky and expressive as the rest of the car. Young Arnold used his Eldorado Biarritz as a perfect carrier to Malibu and back.

13 Excalibur

The actor has a fair variety of cars in his collection. Another classic car that he's been keeping is the Excalibur. This isn't a common car for celebrities because it's actually a rare choice even for most people. The Excalibur has a strong vintage look and a price of around $89,000 with great differences depending on which variety you choose.

12 Custom Kreisel Electric G500

via Motor Authority

Just like his big, muscular build, Arnold also has a liking for big, beefy cars like the Kreisel Electric G500. It is also one of the cars that he says he loves. After taking it for a stroll, Arnold says that it was a real pleasure driving the Kreisel Electric G500 because it is "sporty" and "fantastic." The Kreisel is a powerful machine with promising performance.

11 Hummer H1 Slant Back

via Zimbio

One of the prized cars in Arnold Schwarzenegger's garage is the Hummer H1 Slant Back. His love for beefy vehicles doesn't only end here as he has other bulky vehicles in store. But this beige-colored H1 is definitely amongst his favorites. In fact, it's the same Hummer he used in his marketing campaigns.

10 Porsche Turbo

via Zimbio

The Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet in Arnold's garage is one of the fastest convertibles ever made in automobile history. If you ask us, this is a more understandable choice for a Hollywood celebrity. It not only looks good. But with an acceleration of 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.4 seconds, the Porsche Turbo keeps up with the speedy lifestyle that the actor/politician/environmentalist has to keep up with.

9 Custom Audi R8

via Top Speed

Asides from classic and bulky cars, Arnold also has a few cars that would fit into the more modern category. His Audi R8 is a customized version popularized by another famed actor, Robert Downey Jr. With a bright red body and an aggressive front fascia, every inch of the custom Audi R8 is suited to Arnold's taste.

8 Bentley Arnage

via Zimbio

A world-famous celeb like Arnold can easily grab the attention of both the public and photographers even when he doesn't want to be noticed. That's why people like him also need to have vehicles that don't necessarily say "superstar" at first glance. Even though the Bentley sedan somehow made this possible, it was still hard to cancel the Bentley price tag that came with it.

7 Dodge Challenger SRT8

Another prized piece in the bodybuilder's car collection is the Dodge Challenger SRT8. Since he is widely known for his muscle, it's only right that he gets a matching car to complement his reputation. His Challenger SRT8 comes with a 6.4-liter V8 engine that can produce 470 horsepower. A used Dodge Challenger SRT8 these days can range from $8,000 to $20,000.

Another modern car in Arnold's collection is the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster. This beautiful piece of machinery is a convertible that the builder was spotted taking for lunch. Unlike its coupe cousin, the Roadster lost its gull wings for the sake of the drop-top roof. The price for the Roadster starts from about $130,000 to $540,000.

5 Mercedes-Benz Unimog

via San Antonio Express News

The Mercedes Benz Unimog is one of those toys that are best handled by big boys like Arnold himself. It can work up to 320 horsepower complemented with an uncertain amount of torque. The power is delivered to all of the four wheels that run on 45-inch Michelin tires. Unfortunately, Arnold put up the Unimog for sale in 2016.

4 Bentley Continental GTC

via LOVE

Arnold is known to actually drive the vehicles he collects and the Bentley Continental GTC is no different. Once sporting its black body fresh out of the shop, Arnold had a paint job performed on this fantastic piece of art. He chose an elegant silver color for the exterior and has been photographed driving it a lot in Los Angeles tons of times.

3 Bentley Continental GT SuperSports Convertible

Clearly, Arnold has a thing for Bentleys and we evidently can't blame him. From the Continental GTC, Arnold also has gotten his hands on a GT SuperSports Convertible. With a 6.0-liter W12 engine, this Bentley can croak out 590 foot-pounds of torque and 621 horsepower. The price for one of these road kings is somewhere at $320,000.

2 Bugatti Veyron

via Celebrity Cars Blog

Bugattis are notorious for being luxurious and highly expensive. This must be why only guys like Arnold are able to afford them. A fresh Bugatti Veyron can range anywhere from one to three million US dollars. Unfortunately, Arnold decided he no longer wants his Veyron so he let go of it for $2.5 million in 2018. Reportedly, the car only had 1,000 miles on it which isn't half-bad for its price.

1 M47 Patton Tank

via Collider

Though this isn't technically a car, we decided to list it here because first, Arnold has a lot of fun using this tank and second, his M47 is definitely cool. This 1951 tank is equipped with an 810 horsepower Chrysler V12 engine. He even paid $20,000 just to ship the massive machinery to the US. Arnold decided to use his M47 to crush cars for both entertainment and charity purposes.
