Heavy "D" Sparks and "Diesel Dave" Kiley may not be blood brothers, but they've definitely bonded over their passion for trucks, as well as restoring and custom-building vehicles. This passion is especially evident in the sick pickups that they give away on their show. And it's more than obvious that a lot of their personality and uniqueness gets reflected in their custom pickups.
The Diesel Brothers love to pull pranks at work, but their badass customized pickup trucks are definitely no joke. Some of the trucks they've built are serious monsters, capable of hurdling a mountain with ease; while others will put a grin on every truck enthusiast's face due to how ridiculous and fun they are. To give you a better idea of what we mean, we compiled a list of the 15 of the sickest pickups ever featured on their show.
15 F650 Super Truck
How lucky would you be to get one of these pickup trucks for free? For Kasey Bunch, who won one of these supertrucks, it was a dream-come-true. Who wouldn't be over-the-moon for winning one of these monsters, right? We definitely would.
Kasey narrated that the moment he found out that he won the truck, he started screaming and jumping for joy. His mother jumped up asking what was wrong, but nobody could really blame Kasey for his reaction. The F-650 Super Truck is definitely buzzworthy.
14 MC Hummer
Despite the name, there is nothing else that connects the MC Hummer to the American rapper. It was just a good use of the wordplay. And despite being customized by Diesel Brothers, this 1998 H1 is still easily recognizable. The truck was already incredibly sick out of the factory, but it was even more badass after they were finished with it, adding features like new LED headlights and a black vinyl wrap.
13 GMC Denali 3500
This Denali, or "The Great One" in Native American language, is one of the best works of the Diesel Brothers. It definitely looks "Great." Before working on the 2015 GMC Denali 3500, the Diesel Brothers team knew that they had to stay true to the meaning of the truck's name. They outfitted the truck with new shocks and gave it DB's signature stance by having the tires stick out from the rest of the vehicle.
12 OBS 2.0
The OBS 2.0 is not only a unique-looking truck but also a powerful one. Heavy D describes it as a truck that packs 400 to 500 horsepower due to its powerful Cummins 12 valve engine. And that should be enough even for a truck of this size, weighing 26,000 lbs.
11 Custom 1992 Firetruck
Would you believe that this lime-green truck used to be a firetruck? Well, the color itself has changed drastically from the typical red firetruck. Of course, the water hose and the original truck bed have been removed from the truck, so that, instead of water, this monstrous tow truck could now carry other trucks. Its bed can now carry a 22-feet long vehicle if necessary.
10 Stretched F-650
If you're into hunting, you would definitely love what the Diesel Brothers did to this camper. If not, you would still enjoy it as a motor or mobile home. Though, it was made for the purpose of long hunting journeys. By stretching a former F-650, the camper definitely looks spacious from the outside and has a decent amount of space inside.
9 Adventure Truck
This orange adventure truck is probably the most ideal vehicle to have when all hell breaks loose and a zombie apocalypse comes. It was built for rough conditions and, thanks to its DBS suspension and massive ground clearance, it will hurdle any terrain you throw at it (or zombies, of course).
8 Somersault Truck
The Diesel Brothers are not only big on design when customizing their trucks; they're also big on theatrics. They love putting on a show and translating their crazy (and genius) ideas into reality. Apart from attaching rails around the vehicle, they also used a hydraulic system that would displace liquid and allow the car to roll forward a full 360 degrees after pushing the breaks.
7 The Workhorse
This Workhorse is not called one for no reason; it's a mean hauling machine that can probably even haul a baby Workhorse. In total, this beast can haul 29,600 pounds of weight. Now, that's one tough and strong worker right there.
6 2013 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 3500 SLT
The Diesel Brothers didn't have any idea why they wanted this 2013 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 3500 SLT to be so tall. They just wanted it to look that way, so they customized it with an eight-inch lift and fitted it with 20-inch Method Race Wheels. As if the truck was not already ridiculously tall, they fitted it with 37-inch tires, too. Finally, a 6.7L V8 kept the whole thing quick and agile. Unusual and over-the-top as it is, the oMEGA still looks incredibly cool.
5 US 12 Valve
The Ultimate Hunt Rig, as the Diesel Brothers call this truck, is one of their favorite trucks on the show. A former US 12 Valve, this truck has been customized with the help of Mountain Ops - a company that specializes in outdoor nutrition and performance products.
4 2012 Chevy 2500
You've met MC Hummer at the beginning of this article. Now, it is time to meet Truck Norris. The team wanted the truck to be some sort of symbol for Chuck Norris's greatness, which explains the American flag on this former 2012 Chevy 2500. But, it's not all for show. The truck is built with an A-Arms suspension and Deaver Springs to give it that "freedom" to drive just about anywhere.
3 2012 Dodge Ram 3500
This former 2012 Ram 3500 has been fitted with 43-inch tires to make it 28 inches taller. It's also equipped with a 600-hp engine that can give you enough power to get this thing running smoothly both on the road and anywhere else, for that matter. The lucky winner of this truck probably flipped out after hearing the good news.
2 2015 Chevy Silverado
This former 2015 Chevy Silverado, also called the "White Magic," is way too cool for words. And Shane Miller, the lucky winner, was also left speechless after hearing the happy news. The truck was still in good shape when the Diesel Brothers began working on restoring and customizing it. However, after being outfitted with a 6.5-inch lift, 20-inch wheels, and 37-inch tires, it's never looked better.
1 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD
another one of the Diesel Brothers' favorites, this former 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD was given a 12-inch lift, 20-inch wheels, and 46-inch tires, which are all ideal for off-roading enthusiasts. They do not only get to ride smoothly on rough terrains; they also get to look cool doing so. With a 6.6-liter engine that can generate 700 horsepower, even power-hungry truck enthusiasts will drool over this beautiful monster.
