Stance, fitment, flush, demon camber... we don't care about any of that stuff! People can call it whatever they want, but at the end of the day, there's only one thing that matters - that it looks good! Ok, it probably has to be driveable as well, so there are two things we care about then.

The stance is important, and all cars have stance - it's just not always executed properly. The ones we've gone for here are all still driveable and they certainly look the part. Because that's the kind of stance that we're into. Check out these perfectly stanced cars, we swear they're just like automotive candy... sweet and available in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colors.

15 John Ludwick's Chevy Corvair

Seeing as the Corvair undeservedly gained a reputation for being unsafe at any speed due to its suspension, it's the perfect car to modify suspension-wise. It's not as if things could get much worse anyway. This Chevy Corvair has nailed the stance with its air suspension, and the contrast between the shiny rims and the body's patina certainly makes it stand out from the crowd.

14 THQ VW Transporter

via Only Revo

It's hard to believe that this yellow T6 flatbed was destined for the junkyard when Transporter HQ took it on as a project. It actually started out as a van, but THQ has turned it into something really unique and cool-looking. It's been bagged, given some smokestacks for the exhaust, and of course, it's got awesome rims to top it all off.

13 DriftWorks Porsche 911

This beautifully built and tuned Porsche 964 Turbo belongs to Phil Morrison, owner of British Tuning Company DriftWorks. It features unreal RauhWelt Begriff bodywork and sports a set of Work Brombacher wheels. While the silver widebody Porsche might look understated, it's definitely not lacking in the style, stance, and power departments.

12 Adam Rex's Mk1 Ford Focus RS

This color-changing Focus RS belongs to Adam Rex. Usually, this type of paint isn't quite our thing, but somehow this Focus actually pulls it off flawlessly. It's been slammed to the ground, and hiding in the arches are some gorgeous 3 piece Rotiform OZTs. It's not all show and no go though, under the hood there's a fully built engine that produces 400 wild stallions.

11 JSutai BMW M3

perfect stance bmw e30 m3
via Jsutai

The classic E30 M3 looks just as good today as it did in the '80s. JSutai has merely improved the box-arched Beemer and taken it to the next level. The BC coilovers fitted with custom springs give it a perfect, mean, and purposeful stance.

The custom-built BBS RS wheels have been given slate grey faces, step lips, and red pinstriping before they were nicely wrapped with Falken tires. The styling is finished off with an Evo front lip and the rear wing has a carbon gurney flap.

10 Ojay Bayang's Toyota Previa

via stickydiljoe

This bagged Toyota Previa certainly brings some of that crazy Japanese VIP van scene flavor to American shores - LA, to be specific. It doesn't take a genius to understand that this mini-van has brought home some trophies.

There's an Avanzare aero kit and the wheels are double-staggered, polished, and gold-faced Work Meister S1s. Another nice touch is the Garson curtains throughout the interior.

9 Kuhl Racing R35 Skyline GT-R

The pictures of Kuhl Racing's Nissan Skyline really don't do it justice. Unlike most GT-Rs, this one wasn't built purely for power - it's built for looks, and it looks incredible! As a testament to its build quality, it was awarded the very prestigious “Grand Prix” award at the Tokyo Auto Salon.

The entire car is truly a work of art and it's easy to get lost in its details. Unfortunately, those who don't reside somewhere around Nagoya, Japan, will probably never get a chance to see it in person.

8 Kean Ferrari 308 GTB

Most Ferraristas out there probably hate this ’79 GTB, but we think it's close to automotive perfection. The classic prancing horse belongs to Andy Neirinck, who runs Kean Suspensions with his brother Kenny. The Ferrari was stripped, modernized, and rebuilt to a level that sets an example for all resto-mods.

It goes without saying that it features custom-built suspension... and those 18” AL13 Heritage Collection S20 rims are just pure automotive jewelry.

7 Ginpei-San's Ferrari 348

Another Ferrari. The 348 has been called the "worst Ferrari ever made" by most car magazines and TV-shows. To us, that makes it perfect for some hardcore modifications - it's not like it'll get ruined anyway.

The owner, Ginpei-san, says new Ferraris have lost too much of their driving purity due to an overabundance of electronic driver aids. Fair enough, but while that stance might look incredibly good, it certainly won't make it drive better - neither will those insanely huge, but delicious, 19×12.5-inch Work Wheels VS-XX.

6 Nax Whitemore's Nissan Quest

cool stanced mini van
via Vossen Wheels

Apparently, it took almost two years to finish this Quest, and it's easy to see why. In order to get it sitting nice and low, it has been fitted with Airtekk custom bags/struts suspension.

It received a JDM Elgrand E52 front end conversion with a custom one-off grille by ProFab, and at the back, we find a custom Lexus LS 460 mash-up with a custom dual exhaust. The front splitter and side skirts are custom-made and the door sills are Elgrand. There are also 20x10.5 Vossen VFS-1 wheels that do their best to hide a set of huge D2 racing brakes.

5 Takashi Mori's R34

This actually isn't a GT-R, it's the smaller brother - the GT-T - which in many regards is more versatile than the more famous GT-R. The GT-T might even have a larger aftermarket parts selection than the GT-R, especially when it comes to body kits.

Takashi actually drifts this car and wants to look good doing it. He got a widebody kit from Cross Factory, painted the car in Porsche’s Macadamia metallic, and fitted a set of HRE 303s that measure 18x10 up front and 18x11.5 at the rear.

4 Tarek’s BMW M4

subtle and aggressive bmw m4
via Stance Nation

To separate himself from the widebody crowd, Tarek chose a Varis widebody kit - which was then modified to tone down its aggressiveness... and so it would actually fit over the wheels he had chosen for his M4. Behind the huge, triple black 20×11 and 20×13 Rotiform SIX wheels, we see some 400mm D2 Racing brakes with bright yellow 8-pot calipers.

To give it that perfect stance, there are Airlift Performance struts and 3H management. Dinan anti-roll bars and some SPL camber arms that allow for fine-tuning the handling.

3 Gangwei Zheng’s Mercedes S400

via Stance Nation

Clearly, there are some skilled car modifiers in China. This Benz has received some custom metalwork to create those widebody arches. That green paint gives the car a look that's reminiscent of high-end luxury vehicles, such as a Rolls Royce or Bentley.

It has a Maybach specific Brabus 900 front bumper as wells as S65 AMG sideskirts and rear bumper. The air ride kit is completely custom and took about six months to get dialed in, but looking at how it sits, that must've been totally worth it.

2 Voomeran Golf Mk2

motorsport inspired stance golf
via Voomeran

This simple "people's car" shows that massive body kits and countless hours of custom fabrication aren't really necessary to create a strikingly cool car. The body kit consists of a Voomeran front lip spoiler, over fender kit, side skirts, and cup wing - which all come with a hefty price tag.

The wheels are Fatlace/AME F-Zero1, and the car is slammed to the ground on coilover suspension. All it needed after that was to get some motorsport-inspired stickers and it became a show stopper.

1 Taylor Ujihara’s Lexus LS400

drift and vip style lexus
via Stance nation

As a fan of both VIP style and drift style, Taylor has created a unique blend while maintaining a smooth flowing design. The body kit is a one-off creation, a fusion between a BN style kit and OEM bumpers and skirts.

Instead of the usual VIP-style big-lipped three-piece chrome wheels, there's a set of drift inspired Volk TE37 ultras measuring at 19×10.5 front and 19×11 rear. As for suspension, it's a full Air Lift setup.
