A lot of them have undertaken financial crimes and walked away with millions of dollars. These crime lords have successfully set up a system that allows them to make an immense profit while offering services that are detrimental to their customers.
Now, having a lot of money has allowed these criminals to spend it on some of the most luxurious things life has to offer. If you’re beginning to think that there’s a relationship between drug dealers and superior rides and houses then just know that you’re not alone because almost every high-level drug dealer out there has got himself a sweet ride in his garage(s).
Although some of these criminals have gone to great lengths in trying to conceal their wealth from the eyes of the public, we finally got a glimpse when their properties were raided, and their wealth exposed for the world to see that criminals could lose all the loot they’ve made from their crimes.
15 El Chapo – Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren
Joaquin Guzman, El Chapo as he’s commonly known, has his own collection of motorcycles and cars that no doubt assist him in carrying out his illegal smuggling of drugs. And even though he owns some interesting cars like the Dodge Charger, a replica of a police car, what particularly got our attention was the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren. The SLR is a sports ride that speaks for itself.
14 Sandeep Singh-Dosanjh – Rolls Royce Phantom
Sandeep is a familiar name in the UK books of financial criminals. Sandeep successfully stole taxpayers’ monies by posing as a reputable company and with it purchased an adorable Rolls-Royce Phantom. His criminal group stole £38 million in taxes from the British government. It's also worth adding that Sandeep didn’t spend as much time with the Phantom as he must’ve wanted because he was arrested shortly after and the car seized.
13 Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo – Lamborghini Veneno
Meet the Lamborghini Veneno, an incredibly rare and expensive set of wheels. Lamborghini built only nine and each one was sold for $8.3 million. Now meet Teodoro Obiang, the dictator of Equatorial Guinea who stole public funds to purchase luxury cars and houses. Teodoro has held office for Forty 1years now and hasn’t relented when it comes to looting the country of its oil-gained riches.
12 Richard Carter – Silver Mercedes-Benz
Richard Carter, the drug lord of Detroit back in the day loved Mercedes-Benz but sadly he was known as Maserati Rick, a name he’d earned after attending a nightclub with a new Maserati Convertible. But Richard’s love for Mercedes was so strong that he’d take it to his grave, literally. Richard’s casket was a custom-made silver Mercedes-Benz that cost an impressive $16,000.
11 Kong Meng Vang – 2007 Maserati Quattroporte
Kong Meng Vang was busted with Marijuana worth $5 million. This drug lord is famous for his drug deals and beautiful car collection. Luckily we got a glimpse into his garage when the police seized a 1994 Toyota Supra, 1991 Acura NSX, 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R, 2009 Nissan GT-R, 2007 Maserati Quattroporte, and several other luxury rides.
10 Alvaro Lopez - Ferrari F430
Although young, Alvaro Lopez has made a name for himself as a collector of exquisite cars something that compliments his love for real estate. Why? Because houses and cars go together. His car collection included a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a Bentley Continental, Ferrari Enzo, a Bugatti Veyron 16.4, and several luxury SUVs that’d make your mouth water.
9 Bernie Madoff – 2009 Mercedes-Benz S550
Bernie Madoff was one criminal who earned his wealth from running Ponzi schemes that brought in a fabulous tune of $50 billion. Before he was busted, Bernie had so much money under his beck and call that he could afford several luxury cars like the 2009 Mercedes-Benz S550, a 2007 Mercedes S550, 2006 Lexus and a 2007 Land Rover Range Rover.

A sweet sporty ride that communicated the power and affluence this criminal mastermind had achieved.

With all the enemies drug dealers gather in their lifetime, it’s no surprise that they don’t hesitate to add armored vehicles to their fleet. Al Capone, during his reign, had an armored 1928 Cadillac Town Sedan. The ordinary-looking 1928 Cadillac was completely armored and both the windshield and windows were made of inch-thick bulletproof glass.
6 Jordan Belfort – 1991 Ferrari Testarossa
Certainly, you’ve seen the movie, The Wolf of Wall Street. Leonardo DiCaprio played the character of Jordan Belfort. When Alexander Surin was arrested, the government made certain that they also seized all his breathtaking luxury cars. Alexander Surin’s collection included two Bugatti Veyron’s, Two Ferrari Enzo’s, Ferrari 599 GTB, Ferrari California, and a sweet Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. The European drug dealer doesn’t flaunt these cars in public, he flaunts them online.
3 Nicky Barnes - Citroen SM
Nicky Barnes, Mr. Untouchable, hasn’t been convicted of any crime yet even though he got millions of illegal-dollars annually from drug trafficking. He was one of the biggest dealers in heroin and had no problems with flaunting his ill-gotten wealth. His fleet included a Bentley, a Citroen SM, several Ford Thunderbirds, a Maserati, and several other sports rides.
2 George Evans – Rolls Royce
George Evans was a prominent cocaine smuggler that didn’t take it easy when it came to owning rides. He got himself a Rolls-Royce and shortly after was jailed for 18 years because of his drug smuggling. Luckily for everyone, his illustrious Rolls-Royce was seized by the police. His wife would also join him in custody for money laundering.

Dionne was a rising drug lord that was quickly snuffed out by the police authorities who quickly tracked him down. He was arrested alongside three of his colleagues. The police made away with loaded weapons, a cool red Lamborghini, half a million dollar in cash, and a whole lot of fentanyl-laced heroin.
