Wrapping cars in camouflage seems to have become a popular trend today. We’ve seen Drivers wrap their cars –even cars that don’t need the extra attention– In all shades of camouflage. From the super-fast sports car to the crawling electric vehicle and even classic cars. No car has been left out.

And although one of the primary aims of camouflaging is to cleverly conceal from view, in recent times this trend has been used by many car owners to show their deep pockets and express their funny and questionable styles. We’ve discovered that there’s a very thin line between a great camo job and a bad one and very few drivers ever get it right. The others who don’t, drive their cars around with the most hilarious camo-styles and colors they can get their hands-on.

Maybe you’ve probably considered wrapping that awesome ride of yours in camo, here are 15 sickest camouflage cars we just saw. We do hope yours will be better.

15 Subaru

tintingchicago.com

We think the owner of this vehicle overdid it when he covered his car camo. The blue camo cover doesn’t do the Subaru justice. Maybe the driver wanted this ride to get noticed as it runs across the highway, maybe get a few thumbs-up too, but all we think this Subaru’s getting is a burst of sad laughter. It’s quite obvious that this car isn’t pleased with its owner's work.

14 Bentley

pinterest.co.uk

Mario Balotelli must’ve been so eager to return to the jungle for a little hunt he had to wrap his Bentley Continental GT in Jungle Camo. We’re all great lovers of the Bentley Continental and so far this custom wrap isn’t doing any good to this machine’s image, we guess Balotelli finally regretted this blunder and gifted the car away.

13 In Orange Camo

extra.ie

See something strange with this 2013 Dodge Dart, the one with the green wheels? That’s because the owner decided to wrap it up in a very busy orange digital-camo wrap. The wrap didn’t help the car in any way and although this car was involved in a wrapped-car show, we doubt it’d win anything good. Do yourself a favor and avoid neon green and orange camo wraps

12 Gullwing Camo Too

autoblog.com

So Nigo, the creator of Bape loves to design clothes and stuff. We love his camo jackets but one thing we wished he hadn’t camouflaged was his classic 1954 Mercedes Benz 300SL. We think the design is quite decent but the Mercedes Gullwing is one classic car that does not deserve a treatment like this.

11 Ferrari

pinterest.com

We don’t really know what the owner of this Ferrari was thinking when he decided to cover his ride in something that looks like random strips of color. This Ferrari would’ve done better in plain factory colors but definitely not in this. But we guess that’s what happens when you’ve got a lot of money and just want to make any statement at all.

10 Lambo

hotcars.com

Chris Brown owns a Bugatti Veyron worth over a million dollars so it doesn’t surprise us that he would do this to a Lamborghini Aventador. We guess he was hoping for a refreshed military look but this wrap-job fell slightly off the mark. Sure it’ll get him the catcalls and extra looks but it seems he’s stripped the Aventador of its soul.

9 You Can't See Me

bmwblog.com

Don’t even ask us what was going through BMW’s mind when they chose to roll out this car during the Fashion Week in Milan, because we don’t know. The outrageous display and concealing of this X2 were supposed to be BMW’s way of raising awareness and building customer expectancy but we think the move only seems to work because the X2 was a great car.

8 Camo Tank

autoevolution.com

Calm down people, this is not a tank. We can’t even begin to imagine how this Volvo can survive a real battle but it seems what the owner was really looking for was some extra firepower, a set of fake tank wheels and a lot of attention. Although, we’re curious to know if that over-head gun really turns.

7 Camaro

hotcars.com

We’re currently rolling in fits of laughter. This doesn’t even resemble the custom wrap jobs we’ve gotten used to seeing. This sorry-story Camaro looks like it only had swabs of black paint applied over the army body paint. Whoever ordered this doesn’t know what's best for this car.

6 Another Ferrari

yahoo.com

Yeah, we could argue that Ferrari’s don’t really do well with customization because it's really difficult to get one that’s done just right. But let’s face the fact that this Ferrari GTB Fiorano was another Ferrari that was ruined. It might look great wrapped up in the army camo, but pair it up to its painted fellows and this one falls flat on its face. Doubt us? Check it out yourself.

5 And A Fiat 500

pinterest.com

So whoever had this Fiat 500 wanted this wrap job to mimic a tank, see the small wheels between the two tires? That was the owner's way of screaming; “See my tank!” If the owner of this Fiat was hoping to get any serious attention then he’d have to consider driving into a battlefield. We wish him the best of lucks though.

4 Small In Camo

hotcars.com

The owner of this small electric must’ve felt he wasn’t getting any attention, so what better way to make up for that than wrapping the electric car in army camo. We can't say if it worked, but we can be sure that the electric car’s small size and army camo will definitely turn some heads as it rolls down the road.

3 Camo Truck

zillawraps.com

We’re curious to know why this driver decided to cover only the back of his truck with camo. Why not the front? Does he intend on pulling the wrap off later, or he just wants to have the thrill of customizing his ride? Whatever his reasons, one thing is certain, if this driver intended to cover his truck with camo, then he should go all the way and finish what he’s already started and not expose his confusion.

2 Military Aventador

royal-city.com

Whoever owns this ride must’ve been so eager to show off his camouflaged Lamborghini that he quickly took pictures the moment it arrived on the airfield. We’re certain that this car wouldn’t attempt to blend in, not with shades like this that highlights the Lamborghini’s awesomeness and class.

1 Another Camo’d Truck

reddit.com

At this point, we’re beginning to wonder what goes on in the minds of truck owners who decide to wrap their trucks in camo. This guy decides to cover just half of his truck. Maybe what he planned was so have two people on different sides of the road see different cars. Smart guy.
