Bill Goldberg burst onto the professional wrestling scene in the late nineties. He was discovered by fellow wrestlers Sting and Lex Luger and turned into a star almost overnight by the likes of Kevin Sullivan and Eric Bischoff (WCW management).

Perhaps none of this would have happened if he wasn’t charismatic and physically impressive, but he just happened to be, and his storied career is enough to speak volumes of his legendary status in the sport.

He has branched out into television and film, and yeah, the money rolled in quite nicely for this superstar. And what did he use a big chunk of his change on? You guessed it… cars, cars, and more cars.

He’s a huge car freak — especially muscle cars — but we decided to take a look at his collection and his love of cars, bikes and anything fast and powerful.

Having spent a great part of his life on the gridiron playing for the Atlanta Falcons, he learned a thing or two about exercise and nutrition. Now in his fifties, Goldberg is still in incredible shape. So what kind of car would be more appropriate for the jacked superstar other than a muscle car? They kind of go hand in hand.

Despite having had a phenomenal start to his wrestling career, Goldberg did spend a lot of time away from the sport. And it was during this time that he spent most of his free hours around cars. He even hosted shows like Bullrun and Biker Build-Off. He even had an appearance on Monster Garage, among many other car-themed shows.

Perhaps no collection of muscle cars would be complete without a Dodge Charger of all things sitting among other monstrous vehicles.

The Charger in and of itself has its own storied past and it sits proudly as being one of the most powerful and loved vehicles to come off the assembly line over at Dodge. Bill's definitely got one, and it sits among his most prized possessions.

12 A Vast Collection

via Celebrity Carz

As has been reported time and time again, he doesn't only have muscle cars in his huge collection. As it turns out, he's got a multitude of other vehicles that include trucks, SUVs and of course even bikes. More on the bikes later, but he truly is a collector's collector, and he knows his stuff too, as we've seen on the many car shows he's made appearances on and hosted.

If WWE had Stone Cold Steve Austin, then back in the late nineties, WCW certainly had Bill Goldberg. And at the time, his face was on every magazine cover and every ad shown on TV.

He really was the response to Steve Austin and WCW capitalized on his popularity. They even had his face adorn race cars, and Bill couldn't have been happier about that gig, that's for sure.

Also known as the AC Cobra, the vehicle is built around a Ford V8 engine. Interestingly enough, this particular vehicle is produced in both the United States and in the UK, and has been since 1962 sporadically throughout the long years. Well, Goldberg got himself one, and as can be seen in the many images of it, it really is a gorgeous machine and one he's rather proud of.

9 Competitive On All Counts

via Newsday

And if you say that Bill Goldberg is not a competitive individual, then you haven't been paying much attention, now have you. Even in his wrestling career, he has taken certain storylines to heart, and that has erupted into some pretty uncomfortable moments for himself and his colleagues.

Even now, he is in a bit of a real-life feud with fellow superstar Matt Riddle. So how do you think he'd be at the track? We'd wager pretty much the same.

He's got a few bikes as well, of course, and he's been seen sitting atop quite a few. But perhaps the most famous bike in his collection is none other than the bike built for him by Jesse James himself. As we stated earlier, Bill appeared on Monster Garage, and the two go way back. The chopper in question is one of WCC's greatest creations.

7 Multiple Appearances At Car Shows & Auctions

via Motor Trend On Demand

And it's perhaps because of his love of cars and bikes that he can often be seen at car shows and auctions. Maybe the only wrestling celebrity that rivals him is John Cena. Bill has appeared at many Barrett Jackson events and of course many drag races ... some of which even he has raced in. And he's always ready to answer a  few questions, should a reporter ask.

Apparently, this Mustang, in particular, is the only one that exists as an automatic, and it sits proudly in Goldberg's garage. He has often claimed that it is also one of the most expensive of its kind, and we'd believe that.

These cars were released to the public as well, but apparently, they were modified specifically to underperform due to insurance requirements, but apparently they were all built to pack a serious punch.

It's no wonder why he is often cast as an automotive enthusiast as well. He has hosted so many car shows and been a part of so many others that he kind of became synonymous with cars both fast and strong. But there's just something about a big strong guy behind the wheel of a big strong truck. It just sends the right message and the right amount of machismo to the audience.

4 We Haven't Heard The Last Of Bill Goldberg

via World Branding Forum

And perhaps we never will. He is a Hall of Famer and as we said, he stays current. But fans these days are pretty lucky, as he has returned and is back in action in the WWE. He's set to face Bray Wyatt at Super ShowDown on Thursday, February 27th, and as one of the oldest superstars to make it back into the ring, there are many that are concerned.

via The Oklahoman

There will, of course, be a time when he will have to hang up the wrestling boots, but that time hasn't come yet. He didn't perform all that well against The Undertaker, but it has been proven that they were both to blame for that match. This time around he's set to face a younger opponent, and his fans are certainly on his side this time around.

The red Hellcat isn't the only one he's got in his collection. This green F8 Demon sure is a powerhouse as well. Bill apparently shared this image one of his social media pages, and fans just ate it up.

This beast comes with a 6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8 and 840 HP. Pretty impressive indeed, so we can more than understand why a collector like Bill Goldberg just had to get his hands on one of these bad boys.

1 Giving Back To The Community

via Carscoops

But wrestling career aside, Bill Goldberg can look back with pride on his career as he did the best he could have done, and made a name for himself in the process... a name he has lent to many charitable organizations. He isn't just buying up cars and doing for himself. No, Goldberg has given back and then some, and we appreciate him for it.
