As a replacement for the old 650S, British automobile manufacturer, McLaren, introduced a lighter, better, and tougher sports car, the 720S, in May 2017. It was first seen at the Geneva Motor Show on the 7th of March 2017 and remains in production to this date.

Everyone was left in awe during its unveiling. Built on an all-new chassis, the 720S focuses on the principles of aerodynamics and speed. In terms of capability, it is a competent match for its rivals from Ferrari, Audi, and Lamborghini.

Compared to the 650S, the 720S is 10 percent more fuel-efficient. It was claimed by the brand that the 720S outranks other cars in its class with CO2 emissions of 249 grams per kilometer. It has a combined fuel economy of 26.4 miles per gallon (Imperial) or 22 miles per gallon (U.S.).
