From off-roading to bad modifications, Jeep owners are known for some crazy stuff. Jeeps are some of the coolest vehicles due to their off-roading capability and classic styling that is completely unique to the Jeep brand. The signature front end with the grille and lights define the jeep line up.

But Jeeps wouldn’t be the same without their crazy owners. Jeep owners have been known to do some crazy things in the past with their vehicles. From bad parking to bad driving and everything in-between. You’ve probably been angry once or twice due to some of the crazy things Jeep owners do.

This article features some of the finest examples of Jeep related shenanigans. Some of them will upset you and some of them are almost a little hard to believe but “it’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand”.

15 It’s a Jeep Thing, You Wouldn’t Understand

Let's get right into Jeep culture with this classic saying, “it’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand”. Immortalized by the thousands of stickers plastered all over Jeeps worldwide. It perfectly embodies everything going on in this picture and in this article. Why would they park like that? you may ask. Well… it’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand.

14 Decorating Their Jeeps With Weird Items

Jeep owners are constant offenders when it comes to decorating their vehicles with some weird things. For instance this vampire baby doll. I guess this owner just gave up looking out of his rear window when he put all of those stickers on it?

Thankfully they have some extra eyes on the road to help with visibility. Unfortunately, those eyes are on a demented vampire baby doll.

13 Having The Biggest Rims Possible

I don’t understand this bizarre trend of outfitting Jeeps and pickup trucks with absolutely massive rims. It’s not good for performance, ride quality or off-roading and it definitely doesn’t look good. It’s like they put bike tires on a Jeep. This jeep in particular looks especially bad with its bad paint job, roof delete and huge rims.

12 Too Much Confidence

via Reddit

We’ve all been there. Going down the highway and the Jeep driver thinks they have enough space to squeeze in front of you, but alas, they do not. So you’re unfortunately forced to brake to let them in.

This overconfidence many Jeep drivers have can often lead them into some trouble. Unfortunately, this owner got their jeep wedged into this crevasse - and the damage won't just buff out.

11 Tasteless Mods

I’ve noticed in recent years more and more Jeeps getting outfitted with absurd paint jobs, decals, and Amazon bolt-on parts. This Jeep is a prime example of how not to modify your Jeep. Not only is this Jeep an eyesore - it is a shining example of how much money the owner wasted on unnecessary accessories and bad paint jobs.

10 Parking Off-Road

Jeep
via Reddit

I feel like we’ve seen Jeep owners do this one the most. Whether it's on grass, the sidewalk or even a snowbank, parking off-road is just a fact of life for your average Jeep owner. With the right mentality, I suppose anywhere is a parking spot for a Jeep.

9 Even More Tasteless Mods

Ok Jeep owners listen up. If you add 30” rims, some goofy looking custom hood, weird LED headlights, and fog lights as well as those “angry eye” things on your Jeep it takes away from the awesome heritage of these vehicles.

Don’t get me wrong, I know you might think it looks cool, however, it just looks like you wish you could’ve bought a pimped-out Escalade.

8 Themed Jeeps

This one might be a little controversial because people may have a special place in their hearts for these nostalgia-inducing machines on wheels. Themed Jeeps such as this Jurassic Park replica are very cool but you must know this Jeep owner is a sucker for attention.

This owner was probably that loud kid in class who everyone thought was the class clown. I bet they also own a DeLorean.

7 Making Their Jeeps Extra Wide

Extra-wide Jeeps and pickup trucks annoy me a little. More-so Jeeps in this case, because there are usually fewer pickup trucks in the city. I understand parking your Jeep can be more difficult, as it is super wide, but it is very annoying to the people parking next to you. Leaving no room to park or open doors on either car, these Jeeps shouldn’t be allowed in the city.

6 Parking On Top Of Each Other

Alright, I know I wouldn’t understand because its a Jeep thing, but c’mon. This is just outrageous. I feel bad for the people parked right next to these two buffoons. Their cars are in danger of getting damaged. This just goes to show that Jeep owners are kids at heart.

5 Neglecting Basic Maintenance

via Reddit

My uncle isn’t as bald as these tires - and he has no hair on his head. Drivers beware because this Jeep’s tires could burst at any moment. Luckily this owner has a spare but that won’t do them much good if they need more than one. Let’s hope they’re on the way to replace those tires.

4 Outrageous Lift Kits

Jeep
via Reddit

Jeeps come standard with above average ground clearance. There is no reason to lift your Jeep higher than Snoop Dogg on April 20th. Doing this just makes your Jeep really top-heavy and at risk of tipping over. At least you have good visibility and you won’t have to worry about bottoming out your shocks.

3 Door Swapping

Just because its possible to swap your doors doesn’t mean you should. Does this mean they have to swap keys too? In my opinion it doesn’t look good enough to be worth the hassle. Seeing a different colored door often makes me think you were recently in an accident and you haven’t had the time to get a new paint job.

2 Doing Stupid Things With Their Jeeps Because They Can

Jeep
via Reddit

I hope this was the result of some kind of accident... because who in their right mind would use their car to scale a power line anchor? Jeep owners would! I hate to say it but its honestly kind of impressive this Jeep owner was able to manage such a feat. I just hope they can get it down from there without too much damage.

1 Parking On The Lawn

Jeep
via Reddit

This guy must really annoy his neighbors. Parking his Jeep right on his lawn is very out of place for what looks like a quiet suburban neighborhood. What happened to parking in the driveway? Is asphalt just not a Jeep’s natural habitat? I have too many questions for this guy that need answering.
