Overhaulin’ is an automotive reality TV series that ran from 2004 to 2008 on the TLC channel and the Discovery channel in 2012. Together with the famous Chip Foose, the cast of Overhaulin’ created custom-built machines from decrepit vehicles for unsuspecting owners. The concept behind the show was that fans would submit proposals asking the cast to overhaul a vehicle belonging to a loved one as a surprise.

The unsuspecting ‘target’ would be tricked in elaborate schemes that could involve stealing the victim’s car, convincing the victim that their vehicle had been towed away by the police, and any other ruse the cast could think of.

Overhaulin’ was revived for its tenth season available exclusively on MotorTrend On-Demand and this convinced us to compile a list of things you never knew about the cast of Overhaulin’.
