The digital car rendering world is an interesting place. There are plenty of hugely talented digital artists that can come up with some truly fascinating creations. More and more great pieces of art are cropping up and one of the best digital car artists is Emmanuel Brito. His latest creation is this, a 1958 Chevrolet Corvette which has some pretty incredible custom body, trimming and a modern Corvette engine under the hood. This really takes the 1958 Corvette to the next and most extreme level.

Based On A Real Car

This render is actually based on a real car. It is actually going to get shown off at this year's SEMA auto show, and the bodywork itself is coming from Ricardo Lopez of @customsbylopez on Instagram. The car itself will feature a custom body and trim and a custom chassis with an LS3 6.2-liter engine from a C6 Corvette and a 4L80 E Automatic transmission.

Lopez has done a great job with this car and Brito a great job with the render. One thing that instantly stands out is the gold paint all over the car with a bit of cream as well. However, the gold is truly insane.

A Great Two-Tone Livery

The livery is mostly gold but it is very much two-tone. The cream is a classic Corvette color, but you wouldn’t perhaps expect the whole car to have gold across it as it is now. The headlight design also looks wild. It is a bit menacing with the orange LEDs in them. Brito and Lopez have kept the tooth-like grille design of the Corvette, an iconic feature of the 1958 Corvette. But we now have a more modern, spoked wheel design that while not as cool as having whitewall wheels, fits in with this custom version of the Corvette.

The Next Level 1958 Corvette

Thankfully, a lot of the design of the Corvette is the same as the original. We get plenty of chrome at the front and the rear, as well as wing mirrors that retain the same design of the C1 Corvette. The back of the Corvette is quite similar to the original Corvette, but we do have more modern-style lights. These are keeping with the restomod style that appear on the wheels and the front headlights. While a lot of this car is custom, it keeps the DNA of the original Corvette and that is something we love to see.
