A worker at the dealership told reporters, "He'll buy a car before a fight. He'll buy cars after the fight. He'll buy cars on holidays."
Having the financial breathing room to acquire stunning cars both before and after fights is very rare; some of the vehicles Mayweather has purchased are literally the most expensive cars on the planet.
Jeremy Clarkson, on the other hand, known for his hosting duties on the hit show Top Gear, has a reported net worth of significantly less money than Mayweather. While Clarkson is still a big success in his own right and he can still afford many more vehicles than the average person, many of the vehicles in Mayweather’s garage are simply unattainable to Clarkson. The price for one of these cars will set you back at least over $600,000. What's noteworthy about these limited-edition cars from Rolls-Royce is that they'll only make a few of these specific types of cars.
For example, the company only made about 35 Phantom Coupe limited-edition units. Although the exclusive vehicle is very similar to the original car, the limited-edition cars are special because Rolls-Royce offers the car in a color (Aviator Grey) previously unavailable in their lineup. It’s a bit of a gimmick, but it’s still cool. As a side note, it's also worth mentioning: this is another vehicle Mayweather decided to get in white.

The second Lamborghini in Mayweather’s collection is this gorgeous Murcielago. After going for so many cars over the years in his favorite color of white, Mayweather opted for a much flashier yellow this time around.
It’s also another car Clarkson doesn't have in his garage, but it makes sense to add it to this list: it’s another sports car he got the opportunity to review on his show. Clarkson really responded to the car’s ability to drive at very fast speeds. He also commented on the fact that it's a very sporty driving experience but that it maintains a relaxing atmosphere on the inside.
7 Bentley Mulsanne
The other British car company Mayweather has an appreciation for is Bentley; he has a Mulsanne worth approximately nearly $300,000. In other words, the car the athlete chose is actually one of the costliest vehicles in Bentley’s lineup that you can buy. It doesn't drive as fast as some of the boxers' other cars, but that's the whole point: the emphasis here is more on the luxury and the experience of driving, rather than the speed.
Clarkson would love to own this car: on his show, he frequently loves to point out that he appreciates cars that are smoother rather than those that are sporty.

On Top Gear, Clarkson unfortunately didn't get the chance to test drive this supercar. However, the car has been featured on the show positively in the past. It’s tough to imagine Clarkson not wanting this car for his collection, as in terms of European sports cars, it’s one of the best options out there.
5 Ferrari Enzo
Another car built by Ferrari that Mayweather felt inclined to add to his impressive car collection is the Enzo, a supercar that actually has a 6-liter, 12-cylinder engine. It’s also extra cool in a way only a car collector like Mayweather would be able to truly appreciate: only 400 were ever produced between the years of 2002 to 2004. That means the athlete is among the few people in the world who can say they have access to such an exclusive car.
When Clarkson drove the Enzo on Top Gear, he was absolutely head over heels in love with it. It’s got several features that emphasize the racecar qualities of it (including a button on the interior panel that literally says “RACE”).
4 Ferrari 458 Spider
Not only is the 458 Spider another sports car that's a favorite of Mayweather's, but it also happens to be the car of choice for many celebrities that can afford it. Although in his original review for the Spider (published in 2014) Clarkson was a bit critical about some of the Italian company’s choices, he also admitted, “I grew out of supercars many years ago. I vowed after the Ford GT that I’d never buy another. And I will stand by that. But if I were to waver, this would be the one.”
3 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
This is clearly a car built for driving at high speeds. It’s a supercar engineered with racing in mind; it’s got a V12 engine, and it can go from 0 to 100 in mere seconds. At the time of its inception, this sports car was actually considered the fastest vehicle imaginable by Ferrari.
In the initial era this car was unveiled, 2006-2012, this car absolutely dominated, and it was a huge success for the company.
Clarkson had nice things to say about the car’s design and feel on his show, even, at one point, going as far as calling the car "hugely impressive."
2 McLaren 650S
With the mutual admiration Mayweather and Clarkson have for the company Mercedes-Benz, it's interesting to see what other vehicles the two seem to enjoy. What's fascinating about their car collections is there doesn’t seem to be much overlap; although Clarkson has a couple sports cars, he doesn’t get as extreme with his buying as Mayweather does.
It’s surprising that McLaren is one of the few companies both men seem to agree on; Clarkson owns a McLaren 675LT, and Mayweather has a McLaren 650S. You can’t go wrong with either car from the company. Even though Clarkson has what people consider the faster car, he'd definitely be able to appreciate the 650S.
1 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet
It’s surprising that a car guy like Clarkson has never purchased a vehicle built by Porsche. Despite the fact that he's been seen gushing about how much he loves the Porsche 911, he doesn't own one.
In the past, Clarkson has also had negative things to say about the car. He's mentioned that he's always disliked the Porsche 911. However, he's also commented on the fact that the design of their cars has been getting better over the years. Even though he's shown a dislike for Porsche offerings all his life, he's called the 911 a “great car.”
