David Beckham is perhaps the most well-known soccer (or football) player in the world, and he’s amassed a fortune fitting the title. With piles of money comes a need to do something with it, and we’re happy to say we think Beckham has found the perfect hobby. The soccer legend has quite the car collection to boast about.
With models ranging from high-end Rolls-Royces to vintage Aston Martins, Beckham’s collection spans decades. Although it isn’t the most expansive celebrity collection of cars we’ve ever seen, it’s certainly one to be admired.
David Beckham, his wife, and four kids have lived in various countries, including England, Spain, and the United States. Some vehicles in the Beckham car collection are suited for families while others are two-seater sports cars designed for thrills. Not every car in the soccer legend’s collection is out of the reach of the average driver, though. In fact, odds are, you see a few of the models on a road near you fairly often.
There’s no denying that Beckham is one of the best soccer players to ever take the field. Combine multi-million dollar contracts with a love for cars, and the result is an impressive car collection fit for a king. Without further ado, here’s a quick look at 20 of the coolest cars from David Beckham’s collection, plus a two-wheeled bonus entry.
21 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drop Head Coupe
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drop Head Coupe is one of the most exotic vehicles to ever grace the industry, so it’s only natural that one found its way into David Beckham’s car collection. Like most other cars in the soccer star’s collection, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drop Head Coupe comes in black and features a few aftermarket adjustments.
The exotic two-door model features a convertible top with four seats. Rearward opening coach doors and a two-tone color scheme set this luxury model apart from the rest of the models in Beckham’s collection.
The Phantom Drop Head Coupe weighs in at 5,780 lbs. It comes stocked with a 6.75-liter V12 engine that produces more than 400 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque.
Beckham’s high-end Rolls-Royce rolls out on custom 24-inch black rims, giving off an athletic vibe few drivers can ignore.
Notably, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drop Head Coupe was the most expensive model in the brand’s lineup. The British convertible made an appearance at the 2012 Summer Olympics as well, adding to the model’s notoriety.
20 Bentley Mulsanne
Bentley initially unveiled the Mulsanne as its flagship vehicle in 2010. The luxurious model caught the eye of the Beckham family immediately, and they wasted no time in adding the vehicle to their collection. Beckham is often seen riding in the rear seat of the Bentley Mulsanne with a chauffeur behind the wheel.
According to Motor1, the Beckhams usually prefer to drive themselves, but the Mulsanne is the exception to the rule. The family is often seen climbing out of the rear seat, giving bystanders a glimpse of one of the most luxurious vehicles in the industry.
The full-size luxury car boasted a 6.75-liter V8 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Although it weighed in at a hefty 5,850 lbs., the Mulsanne featured responsive handling and a smooth ride.
Customers had a whopping 114 paint colors to choose from. It should come as no surprise that Beckham went with his standard black paint job. The rear seats could be configured to seat two or three people comfortably.
No matter the seating capacity, there’s little doubt the Bentley Mulsanne set a new standard for luxury, and that’s exactly why it has a place in Beckham’s collection.
19 McLaren MP4-12C Spider
It isn’t often bystanders catch sight of a McLaren MP4-12C Spider, even in Beverly Hills. Perhaps that rarity enticed David Beckham to add the supercar to his collection back in 2013. The convertible starts at $268,000, but Beckham likely purchased the top-tier performance model for a hefty $319,000.
The McLaren MP4-12C Spider featured technology from the manufacturer’s Formula One program. A high-powered 3.8-liter V8 engine churned out a massive 616 hp, but that’s not the only head-turning feature. A slick aesthetic and black paint job made for quite the intimidating appearance.
According to Car and Driver, McLaren went the extra mile to give the MP4-12C Spider more character. Removing the roof was just the start of it all. Its performance was up from 593 hp to 616 hp thanks to improved engine-control software.
A major part of what made driving the 2013 McLaren MP4-12C Spider fun was its adjustable intake sound generator. Drivers could adjust the sound through a menu in the dashboard settings.
Regardless of driving mode or performance, we have little doubt what made Beckham purchase the sports car was simply how it looked in black.
18 Cadillac Escalade
Superstar David Beckham has millions upon millions of dollars at his disposal, so it should come as no surprise that he opted for the best of the best for his family. A Cadillac Escalade was a top choice for the soccer player, likely due to its high-end interior, and it only got better with a few custom touches.
The Cadillac Escalade featured a black paint job with chrome trim. The luxury SUV was quickly adorned with a custom "23" insignia, a nod to his jersey number while playing for Real Madrid and LA Galaxy.
Rumors originally claimed that Beckham received the Escalade SUV as a gift from none other than Tom Cruise. An interview with the Los Angeles Times proved the rumors false, though. It turns out Beckham doesn't mind Los Angeles traffic and enjoys listening to music while stuck in a jam.
Unfortunately, things didn't end well for the Cadillac Escalade. According to Motor Authority, Beckham rear-ended a Mitsubishi on the 405 Freeway in 2011. No one was injured, but the soccer star was forced to drive another of his high-end cars while the Escalade was in the shop for repairs.
17 Audi S8
David Beckham's garage is filled to the brim with some pretty crazy, supped-up cars. The soccer star's car collection includes a 2013 Audi S8, a high-powered luxury sedan. Although the Audi S8 is far from a lightweight, weighing in at 4,600 lbs., its engine is more than enough to put it near the top of its class in speed.
According to Auto Loan Daily, the 2013 Audi S8 featured one of the most powerful engines to make its way under the hood of the brand's sedans. The 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine produced an inspirational 520 hp. That performance resulted in a 0-to-60 mph of just 3.9 seconds. For the uninitiated, that's fast, even by sports-car standards.
It comes as no surprise that the Audi S8 caught Beckham's eye. The black luxury sedan featured chrome trim when the soccer star initially bought it. Knowing Beckham, the S8 likely received a helping of black paint over its chrome trim. We wouldn't be too shocked to see black wheels complete the blacked-out Beckham styling either.
16 Chevrolet Camaro SS
American muscle knows no borders, as evidenced by the fact that England's soccer star cruises around in a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS. Retailing at around $55,000, Beckham's Camaro SS features a few custom touches.
According to Motor Authority, the 2011 Camaro SS features a matte-gray paint job paired with glossy black wheels. Tinted windows and lights add a touch of mystery to the American muscle car. Under the hood is none other than a high-powered V8 engine.
As it turns out, Beckham's Camaro SS isn't entirely built to manufacturer specifications. Platinum Motorsport of Los Angeles had a hand in the creation of the American muscle car.
There's no word on what kind of modifications Platinum Motorsport may have done to the powertrain. A stock V8 engine produced 426 hp or 400 hp with an automatic transmission, so there's no doubt this muscle car produced top-notch performance. Brembo brakes came standard on the SS trim.
Prior to purchasing his custom 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS, Beckham sold one of his modified Porsche 911 Turbos for a hefty $217,100. Even if he didn't have millions, that's more than enough money for a top-tier American muscle car.
15 Bentley Bentayga
Bentley taps into the finer side of the automotive industry with a line of vehicles that few competitors can match. Needless to say, David Beckham is a fan of the lineup and owns several Bentleys, including a Bentayga. The high-end SUV quickly became a common sight among the rich and famous following its launch.
Beckham was spotted cruising through London behind the wheel of a Bentley Bentayga in 2016. Bearing a price tag of more than $225,000, the Bentayga is out of reach for most drivers. According to USA Today, Bentley billed the Bentayga as “the fastest, most powerful, most luxurious, most exclusive SUV in the world.”
The Bentayga’s luxurious interior comes down to the eye of the beholder, but there’s no denying the SUVs performance. A 6.0-liter turbocharged V12 engine comes standard. It delivered 600 hp and achieved a 60-mph time in four seconds flat.
As far as we know, Beckham still drives the Bentayga pretty often. After all, the family man needs the room and extra comfort for the family!
14 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
David Beckham has made a name for himself off the field as a collector of stylish cars. Although most of his cars are newer, the soccer star also owns an Aston Martin V8 Vantage. The vintage convertible wears a deep red paint job with pride.
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage was known as “Britain’s First Supercar.” Its powerful engine and sleek styling were reminiscent of American muscle cars, making the V8 Vantage a popular collector’s car.
Finding an Aston Martin V8 Vantage with a deep red paint job is no easy task. The classic model is likely among the 534 units produced between 1977 and 1989. The vintage car featured a convertible top and a 5.3-liter V8 engine that ranged between 375 hp to 403 hp depending on the model year.
Although Beckham’s V8 Vantage isn’t painted black or a top performance model in the modern day, it still holds a place in the hearts of enthusiasts everywhere. The classic styling and soft-top convertible ensure that the car will remain a favorite of the Beckham family.
13 Jaguar F-Type Project 7
"Go big or go home" appears to be a motto of David Beckham’s both on and off the field. The soccer legend picked up a Jaguar F-Type Project 7 as an early Christmas present to himself back in 2015. Beckham’s Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is one of 250 examples ever produced.
The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 presumably cost Beckham nearly $180,000, a good amount more than the F-Type V8 R Convertible. Due to its limited production run, the F-Type Project 7 is a shoe-in to become a hot collector’s car.
The F-Type Project 7 featured a 5.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 575 hp. That powertrain boasted a 0-to-60 mph of under 3.9 seconds. An electronic limit set the top speed at 186 mph. Standard carbon-ceramic brakes delivered a responsive stop.
According to Jaguar, Beckham serves as the brand ambassador for the Jaguar brand, so it’s unknown if he actually paid full price for the limited edition F-Type Project 7. It’s very possible he could've received the car free of charge.
We aren’t sure how long Beckham will keep the Jaguar F-Type Project 7. After all, it’s hard to fit Victoria and their four children into a two-seat sports car.
12 Bentley Continental GT Supersports
Losing is hard, but there are few better ways to cheer up a soccer superstar than by getting him a brand new Bentley Continental GT Supersports. According to Motor Authority, that’s exactly what Victoria Beckham did for David following a hard loss by the LA Galaxy.
The beige 2010 Bentley Continental GT Supersports strayed a bit from David Beckham’s general black paint job, but Victoria’s heart was certainly in the right place. Perhaps she chose the beige color scheme to contrast with her own black Bentley Continental GTC.
With a base price of more than $273,000, the Continental GT Supersports boasts a twin-turbocharged W12 engine that produces 621 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The luxury model features a top speed of 204 mph and runs from 0-to-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.
As one might expect, the Bentley Continental GT Supersports' engine gulps fuel, earning up to an EPA-estimated 10 city/17 highway mpg. Well, at least we know that Beckham can afford it…
11 Rolls-Royce Ghost
Beckham’s love for Rolls-Royce continues with a second intimidating model in his collection. His Rolls-Royce Ghost features a similar aesthetic to the Phantom Drop Head Coupe, black paint job and all. The luxurious Ghost is based on the BMW 7 Series.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost weighed substantially more than the model it’s based on but managed to bring impressive handling to the road. A 6.6-liter V12 engine that produces just over 560 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque rested beneath the hood.
Much like Beckham’s Phantom Drop Head Coupe, the Ghost rolled out on custom black rims that meshed well with the black paint. A luxurious interior marked by premium amenities and top technologies, combined with an impressive powertrain, set the Ghost’s pricing at over $380,000.
According to Daily Mail, the soccer star was caught on camera entering the vehicle outside a gym back in 2015. A rectangular grille and an all-black style made the Ghost one of the most intimidating luxury cars on the road.
10 BMW 645
David Beckham is a sucker for German luxury—if his purchase history is anything to go by anyway. The soccer fan picked up a BMW 645 convertible, but apparently never found the time to drive it himself. A few custom touches indicate that Victoria may have been behind the wheel instead.
The two-door convertible featured a silver paint job, a departure from the soccer star’s largely matte-black car collection. It rode on 22-inch alloy wheels emblazoned with Victoria Beckham’s initials. As for performance, the BMW 645 was capable of achieving a 0-to-60 mph time of just 6.2 seconds.
According to ITV, Beckham put his BMW 645 up for sale on Auto Trader in spring 2014. The model ultimately sold for just shy of $100,000. At the time of sale, the BMW 645 had a little over 8,000 miles on the odometer.
The interior was largely comprised of cream-colored leather. Bluetooth technology and heated seats came standard. The lucky buyer also received a television.
We aren’t certain who became the new owner of the BMW 645 convertible, but the one-owner model was in near-pristine condition. It may not be the quickest model BMW has ever developed, but we’re certain it got the job done.
9 Jaguar XJ
The 2013 Jaguar XJ brought high-end luxury and sleek styling to the road that made it a favorite of sports stars. The luxurious sedan caught the eye of David Beckham, but he wasn’t the one behind the wheel. His wife, Victoria, appears to have enjoyed taking a drive in the family Jaguar XJ.
Starting at an MSRP of $65,000, the Jaguar XJ isn’t the cheapest luxury sedan on the block. A new 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine joined the engine range for the 2013 model year. It produced an impressive 340 hp.
Much like the rest of the Jaguar lineup, the XJ featured a big cat design with a long wheelbase and a low roofline. Sweeping curves and athletic wheels made the model look ready to pounce on the competition.
In typical Beckham fashion, the family Jaguar XJ boasts a sleek black paint job with matte-black Jaguar logos. According to GTSpirit.com, Victoria’s XJ isn’t the upscale R model, but it’s more than capable of getting the job done.
8 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
David Beckham clearly has a love for black supercars, and the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti fits the bill perfectly. Its sleek styling and powerful engine make it a great model for cruising during the warm summer days. Naturally, the soccer star added a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti to his vast collection.
According to autoevolution, the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti was spotted outside of Beckham’s Malibu vacation home. The glossy black supercar features the number seven on the rear passenger’s side bumper, a nod to the soccer legend’s former jersey number.
The supercar features a 5.7-liter V12 engine that produces an impressive 533 hp, resulting in a top speed of 199 mph. That kind of performance doesn’t come cheap. The 2011 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti reportedly cost more than $410,000.
Beckham added the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti to his collection following the birth of his daughter, Harper Seven. The supercar features a wider wheelbase that sets it apart from other cars in the Ferrari lineup.
7 Ferrari 360 Spider(s)
The Ferrari 360 is a slick supercar that brings impressive performance and a track-inspired interior to the road. The overall design attracted performance enthusiasts around the world, including Mr. David Beckham. In fact, the soccer star was so taken with the Ferrari 360 that he bought more than one.
Beckham purchased his first Ferrari 360 Spider in 2001. That model went up for auction in 2017. It was in near-perfect condition with just 7,800 miles on the odometer. It featured a Nero black paint scheme paired with an interior clothed in brown Sabbia leather. Notably, 2001 was the first year the Ferrari 360 was on the market.
According to CarBuzz, the Ferrari 360 featured a 3.6-liter V8 engine that produced an impressive 395 hp and 276 lb-ft of torque. That kind of performance gave the convertible a 0-to-60 mph time of just 4.7 seconds.
In 2003, Beckham bought a second Ferrari 360 Spider. Presumably, the newer model features many of the extras that the original 2001 model did. Extra optional features included an F1 gearbox, a Challenge rear grille, and wider racing seats.
Just 7,565 Ferrari 360 Spiders ever rolled off the production line, making the fact that Beckham once owned two a little ridiculous.
6 Hummer H2
The Hummer H2 was a favorite vehicle of all-stars in the early 2000s, and David Beckham was no exception to Hummer fever. The soccer player nabbed a Hummer H2 for a hefty six-figure price tag, but he didn’t stop there. Beckham went on to spend another five figures on modifications and accessories.
Beckham purchased his Hummer H2 around 2005 for an excessive $103,200. According to DuPont Registry, he then spent an additional $33,800 on accessories. The hefty SUV features a ‘VII’ logo, presumably a nod to the player’s former jersey number, and ‘VB,’ Victoria Beckham, emblazoned across the seats.
In typical Beckham fashion, the Hummer H2 featured a black paint job with low-profile wheels. There’s no word on whether or not Beckham still owns the hefty model.
The Hummer H2 won’t win any fuel efficiency contests, but Beckham’s could take top prize in customization. The soccer star was such a big fan of Hummer that he went as far as buying his son a toy version for more than $30,000.
Clearly, the Los Angeles Galaxy player has more money than he knows what to do with.
5 Range Rover Evoque
If anything, David Beckham has proven he values performance and luxury in his family SUVs. That trend continued in the star’s 2013 Range Rover Evoque Special Edition. His wife, Victoria Beckham, had a hand in designing the model.
Taking Mrs. Beckham’s suggestions into account, Range Rover integrated a stealth-like appearance in the Evoque SUV. A matte-gray color scheme made for quite an intimidating appearance. The special-edition model rolled out on black 20-inch wheels.
Much like the exterior, the Range Rover Evoque Special Edition’s interior is fit for royalty. Rose-gold accents are painted onto the steering wheel and plated throughout the rest of the cabin.
As for technology and performance, the Special Edition with Victoria Beckham doesn’t feature any changes from the Dynamic trim. It comes powered by a 240-hp turbocharged engine.
Although Victoria had a hand in designing the Range Rover Evoque Special Edition, her name doesn’t actually appear anywhere on the SUV. According to Car and Driver, the only sign she played a role is an owner’s manual signed by Beckham herself.
Just 200 examples of this luxurious model made it to the road, and it appears the Beckhams added one to their vast car collection as well. Despite helping design the Evoque, Victoria sold her special-edition model in 2016 with less than 2,000 miles on the odometer.
4 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet
David Beckham is known for putting his personal style on a variety of luxury, high-end cars and SUVs. That customization extends to a 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet, which features everything from a custom interior to an all-black exterior.
The convertible went up for sale wearing a matte-black paint job. Tinted lights and black allow wheels make for quite a recognizable appearance. The high-powered German sports car comes complete with a custom leather interior as well. The leather interior includes Beckham’s #23 jersey number sewn into the upholstery.
The Los Angeles Galaxy player initially sold the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet on eBay.com. It sold for $217,000, but the first buyer backed out of the sale. That’s quite a profit for the Beckhams, considering the car’s new sale price of just $145,790, according to Motor Authority. It’s likely Beckham spent a pretty penny on the customization, but we doubt it amounted to $60,000.
Beckham ultimately put his 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet up for auction in early 2011. It sold for a whopping $217,100. Apparently, some people sell the cars they don't drive. Weird.
3 Lamborghini Gallardo
The Lamborghini Gallardo is a high-powered supercar designed for drivers who enjoy top-tier performance. It should come as no surprise, then, that David Beckham, being the performance enthusiast that he is, bought this supercar around 2006.
The supercar arrived as a compact form of the larger Lamborghini Murcielago. While it may have been sleeker, the Gallardo was far from lacklustre when it came to performance.
A 5.0-liter V10 engine came mated to a six-speed manual transmission for the 2006 model year. That powertrain produced an inspiring 520 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. That kind of performance resulted in a 0-to-60 mph time of just 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 192 mph.
According to Top Speed, the engine's performance reached the road through an all-wheel-drive system. A double-wishbone suspension and Brembo brakes brought a smooth, responsive ride.
Fortunately for one lucky buyer, Beckham sold his barely used, near-perfect condition Lamborghini Gallardo at an auction in 2012. It's probably for the best. After all, who wants to leave a silver Lamborghini collecting dust at David and Victoria's former mansion?
2 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
When you hear about a soccer player who made $250 million in five years, odds are, you associate them with high-performance sports cars and fancy rides. David Beckham has both of those in his car collection. He also has the average Joe's Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and he drives it pretty frequently.
According to Celebrity WotNot, the soccer star was spotted behind the wheel of his custom Jeep Wrangler Unlimited as recently as May 2018. Beckham's custom Wrangler Unlimited rolls around on 22-inch wheels with blacked-out rims. A special tube bumper added a touch of style to the off-road SUV.
The utility-driven 4x4 featured a standard V6 engine under the hood. Beckham appears to use the custom Jeep Wrangler Unlimited for daily errands, like picking up the kids from school.
You may not be able to bend it like Beckham, but you can drive the same vehicle.
1 Bonus: Confederate F131 Hellcat Combat
As it turns out, four-wheeled vehicles aren't the only forms of transportation that Beckham has in his garage. The former England captain was spotted in Los Angeles riding a Confederate F131 Hellcat Combat motorcycle in 2010. While it may bear a similar moniker to the high-powered muscle car, the F131 Hellcat Combat is a completely different machine.
The motorcycle is a limited-edition variant of the final model in the Hellcat series. At the time of sale, the bike was worth around $88,000. That kind of money brings some serious performance on two wheels.
A polished head design, ultra high compression, and a retuned intake system result in a 12 and four percent increase in rear wheel horsepower and torque respectively. This lean, mean, two-wheeled machine brings recalculated front and rear compression and rebound suspension rates. The Confederate radial F131 CID engine delivers an impressive 149 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque.
According to autoevolution, all Confederate F131 Hellcat Combat units had been sold at the time Beckham was spotted cruising through Los Angeles. It appears David Beckham is in good company, though. Tom Cruise reportedly owns the same limited-edition motorcycle.
