The last few decades have been an amazing ride for custom car television shows and media, and there was one particular show that aired on TV that became a cult classic. Overhaulin’ was a redesigned show that would take lucky contestants who had a great car that needed work and completely restore it for them. Chip Foose is a masterful car designer who's created some of the most amazing vehicles to roam the earth, and his specialty is hot rods and classic cars. The show did really well in terms of ratings with a considerable number of amazing car designs and a slew of happy contestants that came out of the show.

There were a total of 113 episodes, but the show didn't get tiring because the restorations were done on a wide range of different vehicles, which gave it a broad appeal. Overhaulin’ was the pinnacle of the reality TV boom that pertained to custom vehicles, and with Chip Foose at the helm, some of the vehicle designs were even more beautiful than the original concepts. No matter which kind of vehicle Chip Foose was restoring, there was bound to be a stellar restoration that would captivate the audience, and the one-of-a-kind vehicles that were featured on Overhaulin’ really showcased the true talent of Chip Foose. It also has to be said that the cars that were restored on Overhaulin’ were much more original than the extreme restorations that were shown on Pimp My Ride, which featured some extreme over-the-top rides that really took away from the original beauty of the vehicles.
