20 Perfect First Cars For Filthy Rich Teens

When average people first get their driver’s license, they usually start driving one of their parents’ cars. If they’re lucky or have saved up a decent amount of money, they might buy a new car. Usually, these cars are affordable (often second-hand), simple and reliable, like the Mazda 3, the Honda Civic, or the Toyota Corolla. But when you're one of the rich kids of Instagram and money is no object, your first car is likely to be something much more extravagant.

This article will showcase some of the cars driven by those who flaunt their wealth and their luxurious cars on Instagram. While they come from different countries and backgrounds, they all share a penchant for luxury goods, fast cars, and ostentatious shows of wealth. Many of these individuals have multiple cars for different occasions and so often have the choice of several “first cars” upon receiving their driver’s licenses. Many of these privileged kids live in or frequently travel to London, where supercar owners flock to flaunt their automotive treasures. These individuals also regularly travel abroad and drive different cars in different cities. What constitutes the perfect “first car” obviously depends on where you live. A convertible Ferrari would be perfect for the coast of Florida but would get utterly destroyed in the snowy streets of Montreal during wintertime. Conversely, a luxury SUV, like the BMW X5 or the Porsche Cayenne, would be well suited to that type of climate.

via www.instagram.com

His red Ferrari 458 Italia is the perfect car for making a grand entrance on the first day of school or for pulling up in front of a party and impressing all your peers. Kirtan’s Instagram page also shows him posted up with multiple Mercedes-AMG G-class SUVs, a Lamborghini Huracan, another Ferrari 458 Italia (in black), and a Roll-Royce Ghost.

via www.instagram.com

Katia Panteli is a 29-year-old Russian socialite who regularly posts pictures of herself modeling high-end designer fashions. She drives a Rolls-Royce Ghost, which epitomizes luxury.

The Ghost, which costs over $300,000, is handbuilt by 60 craftsmen over the course of 450 hours.

The car features plush leather, carefully crafted wood, and a plethora of options for customizing the car to the owner’s specifications. One of the options available to a lucky Rolls-Royce owner is the choice of color for the personalized Teflon-coated umbrella that's hidden in the rear door of the car. Rolls-Royce is now owned by BMW, and many of the Ghost’s features are actually borrowed from the 7-series. The Ghost is powered by a twin-turbo 6.6-liter V-12 engine, which produces 563 horsepower. This allows the car to go from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 154 mph.

15 The McLaren 720s Super Series

His IG page shows him sitting in his Ferrari 458 Speciale, his drophead Rolls-Royce Phantom, and many other crazy cars. He recently posted about ordering a new Lamborghini Aventador and is also anxiously awaiting a mystery AMG from Brabus, the German high-performance tuning company. The coolest car in his collection is his bright-orange McLaren 720S Super Series. Starting at $288,845, the rear-wheel-drive McLaren 720S has 710 horsepower (49 more horsepower than the Ferrari 488GTB) and is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine. The car has several different driving configurations: Drift mode, Comfort mode, Sport mode, and Track mode. The 720S is definitely a racecar, albeit a street-legal one.

14 Jaguar XF

via www.instagram.com

Sidney Himbara Junior (Instagram @its_sirsid) is the son of one of the wealthiest men in Zimbabwe, Sidney Himbara Senior. He's pictured here with his gray Jaguar XF, and his Instagram profile features many other luxury cars, including a 3-series BMW and a Lamborghini Aventador. The Jaguar XF is a pretty good first car for an affluent person who wants an understated yet luxurious ride. Starting at around $50,000, the car’s price can easily be doubled with added options. While the Jaguar XF isn’t cheap, it's still relatively modest and unpretentious when compared to some of the supercars featured on this list. The Jaguar XF is a well-engineered British luxury-sedan and performs well with a 247-horsepower turbocharged engine. The XF can be purchased as an eight-speed automatic with an optional all-wheel-drive capability.

13 CLA 45 AMG

via www.instagram.com

Instagram user @00kevin00 lives in Hong Kong and has several awesome cars, including an Audi R8 Spyder and a Maserati GranTurismo. One of his sweet rides is this Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG, which he heavily modified and tuned. The car sits on HRE wheels and has been lowered with KW suspension V3 Coilovers. The car was tuned by Weistec and features a Meisterschaft exhaust and an Arma carbon-fiber air intake, which adds approximately 15 horsepower. While the regular CLA 45 AMG produces 375 horsepower from its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, Kevin’s modifications bring his car’s total horsepower to 401. His CLA also incorporates various cosmetic upgrades, including a matte-white wrap and a sporty rear wing. The CLA 45 AMG features Mercedes’s 4-Matic all-wheel-drive system and can seat 5 people.

12 Range Rover Evoque

via www.instagram.com

Instagram user @thedutchessdubai is a British fashion blogger who lives Dubai and runs an online store selling cosmetics and personal-care items. She frequently travels and models high-fashion apparel. The blogger has many photos of her white Range Rover Evoque, which sits on black rims. The Evoque is a great first car, as it's small, stylish, and sporty. The small luxury SUV is around $40,000 and is a good car for driving around the deserts of Dubai. The Range Rover Evoque is powered by a 240-horsepower turbocharged engine and has a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SUV can reach a top speed of 134 mph and goes from 0-60 mph in 6.6 seconds. One of the drawbacks of the Evoque is its poor fuel economy, with only 25 mpg (4 mpg lower than its EPA highway rating).

11 The Ford Mustang GT

via instagram.com

Instagram user @_kadirsimsek aka Kadir The Magnificent is a stylish kid from Turkey who lives in London and drives a white Ford Mustang GT. The GT is priced at around $40,000 US (although it's more expensive in Europe) and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine producing over 400 horsepower.

While the car isn't quite as fast as the 455-horsepower Chevy Camaro SS, it still hauls serious weight, as any classic American muscle should!

The GT can go from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds and revs to 7,000 rpm. Kadir’s white Mustang looks menacing with the added hood vent and black cosmetic accents. The Mustang can be upgraded with the optional GT performance package, which includes large front brakes and high-performance Michelin tires.

10 The Renault Twizy Sport F1

via www.instagram.com

Harith Bukhash (Instagram @harithrb) lives in the United Arab Emirates and is the owner & founder of HRB Motoring and a managing partner at Bukhash Brothers Marketing. His cars include a custom-built Mini Cooper, a Lamborghini Aventador SV, a Mercedes-Mclaren SLR, a Pagani Zonda, a classic Mercedes 280 SL, a McLaren 675LT, and many others. His most interesting vehicle, however, is his Renault Twizy Sport F1 concept car. This absolutely insane all-electric car has approximately 100 horsepower and goes from 0–62 mph in 7 seconds. The Twizy Sport F1 has a maximum speed of 68 mph and uses a lot of the same technology employed in Renault’s F1 race cars. One of these technologies is the KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), which essentially captures energy that would've otherwise been wasted during deceleration and braking and then uses this energy to propel the car forward.

9 Mercedes SLS AMG

via www.instagram.com

Sitorabanu Israilova (Instagram @sitorabanu) is a 26-year-old Russian model and entrepreneur who lives in Dubai. Her car of choice is the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a $200,000 supercar that was manufactured between 2011 and 2015. The SLS AMG is a great first car for someone who wants to stand out and make an entrance. With its gull-wing doors and its wide body, the SLS is no ordinary Mercedes.

The car has 583 horsepower and a 6.2-liter V8 engine.

The rear-wheel-drive SLS AMG comes with 19" forged aluminum wheels and many innovative safety features. The SLS is also a good investment, as it's maintained (and in some cases increased) its value when compared to what the car cost when it was new! This is likely due to the rarity and iconic nature of the car.

8 Funco Dune Buggy

via www.instagram.com

Instagram user @falasii has many sweet rides, including a customized jeep, a Rolls-Royce Wraith, Ferraris, Porsches, a Mega-Yacht, and a private jet. He also frequently posts pictures and videos of himself and his friends racing dune buggies through the desert of Dubai. Falasii drives dune buggies made by Funco Motorsports, a small family business that builds ridiculous sand vehicles. These dune buggies feature forced-induction V8 engines and have luxurious interiors with modern dashboards that are indistinguishable from luxury road cars. Falasii has had his buggies tuned to maximize their performance. He's a frequent customer of the NAS Racing Team, a tuning company that upgrades Falco dune buggies to give them insane amounts of power! One of these NAS-tuned buggies, the LSX 454 Twin Turbo, has 1,200 horsepower! Falasii and his friends take part in races and desert challenges all across the United Arab Emirates.

7 Porsche The Cayman GTS

via www.instagram.com

Alexandra, who goes by @r35queen and calls herself “queenzilla,” upgraded from a Porsche Cayman GTS to the car she now drives: an R35 Nissan GTR, aka Godzilla (the successor to the Nissan Skyline GT-R). Alexandra definitely has good taste in cars and has made very refined modifications to both vehicles. On New Year’s, her mom decided to tell her entire family that she races cars, and they all asked the same question: "Are you a boy?" Queenzilla coated her Porsche Cayman GTS, which she named “Penelope,” in a color-changing wrap and added an awesome rear wing.

The Cayman GTS is built on Porsche’s 982 chassis and costs about $80,000.

The mid-engine GTS goes from 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds with the optional automatic transmission and does it in 4.9 seconds with the six-speed manual gearbox.

6 Porsche Panamera

via www.instagram.com

21-year-old Lak is an entrepreneur who owns multiple businesses and lives in London. Lak owns a Porsche Panamera, which he wrapped in gold. The car sits on black rims, which look great against the gold body. The German four-door luxury sports car is priced somewhere between $97,300 and $182,700 and is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo premium unleaded V-6 with 330 horsepower. While the car is quite large and one might expect it handles like a boat, the Panamera is surprisingly responsive. The rear-wheel-drive Porsche has a high-resolution digital display, touch-sensitive switches, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. The touchscreen is intuitive, and like an iPhone, the user can swipe, touch, pinch, and zoom. The car is available as a hybrid vehicle or with a diesel engine.

5 The Mercedes-Benz AMG C63s

via www.instagram.com

D. Lempert is a young, self-made millionaire from Berlin, Germany. The entrepreneur owns multiple AMG Mercedes cars, including an AMG GT, a GLE63s, a C63s, a convertible S 500, and several others. His Mercedes-Benz cars appear to have not been modified, as Lempert prefers factory wheels and paint jobs. My favorite of Lempert’s cars is his C63s, the rear-wheel-drive 503-horsepower beast that's powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The C63s price starts at about $70,000 but quickly gets more expensive as high-end options are added. The best part of owning one of these AMG powerhouses is turning the car on and hearing the thundering sound of that V8 engine. The C63s is basically a cross between a muscle car and an ultra-luxurious family sedan.

4 The BMW X5 M

via www.instagram.com

Instagram user @zedsly aka Zed owns a Lamborghini Huracan, a Mercedes-AMG C63s ED1, and a BMW X5 M. His cars are completely murdered out with matte-black wraps, smoked lights, and heavily tinted windows, giving them an aggressive and sinister appearance.

The X5 M is an insane performance SUV that costs over $100,000.

Living up to the reputation of the BMW “M” badge, the X5 M sits on 21-inch rims and performs incredibly well, especially for an SUV. The X5 M has a whopping 567 horsepower and can go from 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds! The truck’s top speed is 160 mph, all the more impressive given that it weighs 2.5 tons. This performance is achieved with the help of the BMW’s 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine.

3 The Mercedes S550

via www.instagram.com

Neil Mathew (Instagram: @neil_mathew) is a 27-year-old businessman of Indian descent who now lives and works in New York City. Neil started a high-end concierge service that caters to wealthy clients and then moved into the real-estate development business. He's also a brand ambassador for British lifestyle brand “Manor of London.” The serial entrepreneur has several cars and frequently posts pictures of his black Mercedes S550. The S550 is Mercedes’ flagship car and costs approximately $100,000.

The quintessential luxury car is powered by either a 362-horsepower twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine or a 463-horsepower twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8.

Despite its large size, the S550 can go from 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 129 mph. The S550 is also packed with advanced technology, including autonomous driving capability, and the car has surprisingly good fuel economy.

2 The Aston Martin V8 Vantage

via www.instagram.com

Self-described “Global Player” Bayo is a young entrepreneur from Hamburg, Germany who lives a luxurious lifestyle that includes yachts, exotic cars, and travel. Bayo’s many cars include a silver Bentley Continental GT, a black Porsche Panamera, and a red Ferrari 458 Italia. He also owns several luxury SUVs and an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe. The Aston Martin Vantage costs upwards of $150,000 and has 420 horsepower. While the car is certainly not cheap, it's the most affordable model in the Aston Martin lineup. The elegant British sports car is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 and can be purchased with a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. The newest version of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage is set to be released in spring 2018.

1 The Lamborghini Huracán Spyder

via www.instagram.com

Nikita Smirnov (@smmgid) lives in Saint Petersburg, Russia and showcases his luxurious lifestyle of cars, clothes, and travel on Instagram. Nikita’s cars include a red Jaguar f-type, a silver Rolls-Royce ghost, and an orange Lamborghini Huracán Spyder. Despite being the “entry-level” Lamborghini, the Huacán is well over $200,000, and its specs are ridiculous. The Huracán is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine with a seven-speed automatic transmission that produces 602 horsepower. The car was designed to be released as both a hardtop coupe and as a convertible/Spyder from the very beginning. The Huracán’s frame is made of carbon fiber and aluminum. These materials help maintain the vehicle’s torsional rigidity. The Huracán’s good looks and impressive performance have made it extremely popular with supercar buyers. Lamborghini has sold 70% more Huracáns than its predecessor, the Gallardo. This increase in sales led Lamborghini to triple the number of employees working at the company’s factory in the Italian village of Sant’Agata.
