Misfit Garage is a popular reality TV show from the Discovery Channel. The show is a spin-off from the also popular, Fast N' Loud, which is often praised as the number one car show on television. In fact, Misfit Garage features two of the mechanics from the Fast N' Loud garage, Gas Monkey Garage, and also borrows a number of other things from the show such as car restorations and links to the star of the show, Richard Rawlings.

The show originally began in 2014 and is still successfully producing episodes to this day. Each season consists of about eight episodes with the show now into its six series. As mentioned above, the show features two previously employees of the Gas Monkey Garage, mechanics Thomas Weeks and Scot McMillan. The pair now runs the successful Fired Up Garage which specializes in the restoration of customer cars or cars that they have personally found.

Because this is a reality TV show the series also deals with some reality show elements such as scripted arguments and long-lasting disputes. Some have likened Misfit Garage to more of a soap opera than an actual car restoration show due to the endless squabbles that goes on between the cast members.
