The 2019 GMC Sierra Denali is arriving at dealerships now with a fancy new tailgate and a bunch of other new features.

GMC hasn’t exactly made it a secret that their newest pickup is the best they’ve ever made thanks to a host of segment-first features you won’t find on any other truck. Things like GMC’s MultiPro tailgate, rear camera mirror, and full-color heads-up display.

Denali will serve as the flagship pickup for GMC, so it has a lot of standard features that any pickup owner should be excited to own.

To start, the Sierra Denali will get a new adaptive suspension that reads the road every 2 milliseconds to constantly adjust its firmness for the right balance between comfort and control. There’s also a brand new traction control system with 5 settings: Tour, Sport, Snow, Off-road, and Tow/Haul.

Moving to the rear of the truck, GMC introduces the all-new MultiPro tailgate with 6 different configurations to make any job easier. Whether you need a mobile workstation or just a tiny bit of extra space to reach what’s in the bed, the MultiPro tailgate can help.

Denali trims will also get the CarbonPro carbon fiber pickup bed for the lightest and strongest bed ever made.

Moving inside the cabin, the driver is given a standard 3x7-inch full-color HUD so they never have to take their eyes off the road. Unless they want to see behind them, which they can do more easily than ever thanks to a new rearview camera mirror. It’s like a standard rearview mirror, but you can switch the glass to become a camera-lens view of the rear-mounted camera. The camera can even tilt up and down to provide you with a view of the trailer and ensure you’ve got the correct alignment.

Heated and vented front seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel give the Denali that luxurious feel, while an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen handles Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with equal alacrity.

Under the hood is GM’s 6.2-L V8 putting out 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque--plenty of power for any job, or just to speed down the highway at a comfortable pace.

The 2019 Sierra is arriving at dealers now, including the Denali, Elevation, and AT4 trims.
