GMC is holding a great deal on a new 2019 Sierra 1500 pickup, but only for the next week.

If you’re in the market for a new pickup truck, may we humbly suggest the GMC Sierra. Not because of anything particularly amazing about the number four pickup truck in North America, even though you can get variations on it with best-in-class towing and cargo capacity. No, we’re recommending it because GM has a deal on right now that might make it the most pickup truck you can buy for your buck.

According to GM Authority, there is a 3-way combo discount happening for the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 worth just over $9,500. To get the full benefit, you need to buy a Sierra SLT with a crew cab and four-wheel-drive, and then also get the SLT Premium Plus Package.

Normally, a truck with these options would sell for $54,770, but if you apply a $1,000 discount to the option package, a $5,000 purchase allowance, and then a $3,531 price reduction below MSRP, you can take this truck home for just $45,239.

And you would be taking home a lot of truck. The SLT Premium Plus package comes with a whole bunch of luxury features, including wireless charging, a Bose premium audio system, 8-inch infotainment with navigation, heated/vented front seats, and heated rear seats.

On top of that, you get a whole bunch of driver assistance and safety features, such as front-rear park assist, lane change alert/blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision avoidance, lane keeping/lane departure warning, low-speed automatic braking with pedestrian detection, and automatic headlights.

The 2019 GMC Sierra SLT makes its world debut Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Detroit, Michigan. The completely redesigned Sierra SLT features a larger upright grille, a taller hood and a more pronounced C-shaped lighting signature. The Sierra offers best-in-class cargo volume and the high-strength steel bed contains a revised alloy that offers 50 percent more strength than the current model. Add on 20-inch aluminum rims, chrome bed steps, and a spray-in bed liner, and you’ve got a luxury pickup for the price of a middle-of-the-road pickup.

There are a few provisos. The discount only applies to trucks currently in stock, and you have to take it off the lot before July 1st. You also have to go through GM Financial, GM’s financing arm, in order to get the discounts.

But if you want a premium, V8-powered pickup, this is the best deal out there.
