Alpine has created a new limited edition that is in the opposite direction that the A110 Légende GT is going. While the A110 Légende GT is entirely focused on elegant looks inside and out, the new A110 Color Edition 2020 limited edition, on the other hand, belongs to the spectra of utmost sportiness.

Exclusive Finish For Every Year

The new A110 Color Edition is based on the Alpine A110S, but is endowed with several sportier elements and wrapped in exclusive paint finishes available only for a limited period in annual rotation.

The very first A110 Color Edition is finished in Sunflower Yellow, which is derived from Alpine’s popular paint color from the 1960s and 70s -- Jaune Tournesol. A solid, non-metallic finish, Sunflower Yellow will be available only until the end of 2020, and will then be retired from Alpine’s color palette. In 2021, the A110 Color Edition will be finished in a different bespoke color.

Providing stark contrast to the bright Sunflower Yellow finish are black elements already found on the A110S including logos and Alpine monograms, specific inserts in the front LED headlights as well as the 18-inch GT Race alloy wheels (with brake calipers in complementary anthracite). Clients can option a carbon fiber roof for further contrast.

Gone, however, are the tri-color badges of the A110. Instead, carbon fiber and yellow emblems are found on the A110 Color Edition 2020 both inside and out. Inside, the limited edition comes with a steering wheel with grey stitching and a yellow 12 o’clock marker, as well as Sabelt fixed-back bucket seats with Alpine logo. The Alpine A110 Color Edition 2020 features a cabin wrapped in Dinamica upholstery. Alpine provided each limited edition with an exclusive plaque on the center console.

As Powerful As The A110S

Since the Alpine A110 Color Edition 2020 is based on the A110S, it is powered by the same 1.8-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine that delivers 288 hp of max output. This gives the limited edition the capability to sprint from nil to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. This is backed by a sportier chassis setup and lower ride height. A good sporty proposition for a price of €71,000!
