The 2020 Hyundai Palisade went up against six of its strongest competitors and came out on top as Cars.com’s 2020 Three Row SUV Challenge winner. With more interior space, higher mileage, and better handling than its competitors, it’s no wonder the vehicle came out on top of the competition.

In order to secure its win, the 2020 Hyundai Palisade had to compete against a couple of close competitors. The 2020 Kia Telluride, 2019 Volkswagen Atlas, 2020 Ford Explorer, 2020 Subaru Ascent, 2020 Chevrolet Traverse, and 2020 Honda Pilot can all be seen going up against the Palisade in competition. While each of the vehicles showed promise, there could obviously only be one winner.

With each vehicle outfitted with similar packages, judges set out to score each of the competing three-row SUVs. To determine a winner for the competition, Cars.com put each of the vehicles up to rigorous tests in a total of 19 categories made to measure and test everything from available technology to in-cabin storage, powertrain to safety features. Scores were then totaled and winners for each category selected, with the highest scoring SUV taking home the win.

What Set the Hyundai Palisade Apart

There’s quite a bit that helped set the Hyundai Palisade apart from the competition. For starters, it’s a vehicle that feels luxurious, thanks to the diamond stitched leather seats, quiet ride, and suede headliner, without a luxury price tag attached. The 10.25-inch touchscreen multimedia system, loads of interior space, and array of safety features also helped to secure the win. If you’re looking for a three-row SUV that is guaranteed to beat out the competition, look no further than the 2020 Hyundai Palisade.
