Very few cars have been more anticipated than the new Ford Bronco, but it seems like we will have to wait a little longer than we first expected. Thanks to COVID, new delays have been announced in the Bronco's production, but leave it still on track for early to mid-2021. However, changes to the Bronco’s estimated arrival are being made as well, including the manual gearbox as an option in the Sasquatch package.

In a report from Bronco6G, the 2021 Ford Bronco will move its order bank into mid-January as opposed to the current slot in December. That means that dealer allocations for the new Bronco have been shifted to mid-January at the earliest, which will be slightly ahead of the order bank. The cause of it all? COVID has created some issues within suppliers and, as a result, certain parts will not be readily available yet. Furthermore, while customers originally expected to get their shiny new Broncos in spring 2021, they’re now pushed back to summer 2021.

Adding further insult to injury, Ford reports the manual gearbox option in the Sasquatch package won’t be available for 2021 models. Instead, they’re arriving with the 2022 models. One silver lining is that First Edition Broncos will now offer a new black interior after customer demands. Even more, reservation holders will be entered into a customer appreciation program with deals on accessories for their Broncos.
