The Bronco is one of Ford's top-selling SUVs that was originally manufactured from 1965 to 1996. Production came to a halt in the mid-90s due to the slowly declining demand for two-door SUVs. Nonetheless, the originals shone brightly in their time as rivals to the likes of Jeep's CJ-5 and the Chevrolet K5 Blazer.Fans of four-door SUVs will be glad to know that Ford has brought back the Ford Bronco for the 2021 model year with the all-new Sport edition. The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Offers Plenty Of Power

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is the manufacturer's latest edition to the Ford Bronco range. Due to its popularity in its early years, it's no surprise that Ford wanted to bring it, especially with SUVs being so popular right now. And they brought it back better than ever.

Ford's 2021 edition is the sixth-generation Bronco model, known better as the Bronco Sport. After a 25 year hiatus, the Sport now features more power and convenience than before. Not only have they added additional doors, taking it from two to four. But, Ford has also amped up the engine with a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 twin-turbo boost engine with a maximum power output of 310 hp. This trumps the first generations by a mile, as the original editions had a top output of 200 hp.

Drivers can hit high speeds of 130 mph thanks to its 10-speed automatic transmission. That's right, that's a whole ten gear changes that the Bronco Sport can handle.

As it is now a close competitor of the Jeep Wrangler, Ford has made the new Bronco Sport adaptable depending on preferences. Thus, customers can opt for two doors if they want to. They can also make both models convertible if you'd like. Furthermore, the doors can be completely removed, just like those of a Wrangler. However, the Ford Bronco Sport's doors are frameless and much more convenient to withdraw and transport safely (within the actual vehicle itself).

Although the new Bronco Sport resembles the originals, it also shares similarities with the Ford Ranger when it comes to its size and abilities. It is more of a mid-size SUV yet still has immense off-road capabilities.

Other impressive specs include its four-wheel-drive capabilities, impressive throttle response, and great transmission shifts while off-roading.

The all-new Ford Bronco Sport features not one, not two, but seven different driving modes. Drivers can switch between Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Sand, Baja, Mud and Ruts, and Rock Crawl. This beast can definitely satisfy and handle any terrain, making it the ideal mid-size SUV for off-roading no matter the terrain or the weather conditions.

We Love Its Removable Features

That's right, the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport has not just one but two removable features, which makes the car entirely adaptable depending on preference and weather conditions.

Customers can enjoy the roof and doors off and enjoy the true off-roading experience in this new 2021 edition of the Bronco. Its frameless doors can be taken off and stored in its handy rear cargo area, as can its roof. With these features off, the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport isn't shy of competition. It closely resembles the Jeep Wrangler, another off-roading SUV. Yet, it is much more convenient and easy for drivers to adapt on the go.

Its suspension is comfortable and easy to handle, making it easy to maintain its abilities and safety off-road with the doors off and the roof down. It features high-performance off-road stability suspension, which is a common feature in newer Ford off-roading models.

The Price Of The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport comes at a pretty reasonable price for a mid-size SUV with such cool features and great off-roading abilities. The average retail price starts at $28,000 for the base model, which features a 2.3-liter engine. The upgraded version will cost you almost double that, with starting prices at around the $55,000 mark. But, if you want more power for the off-roading terrains, then you might want to consider the upgrade.

But, if you're looking for something for everyday use that can handle roads and still comes with great off-roading abilities, the base model won't disappoint you.

In our opinion, the new 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is a pretty mean and beasty edition to the Bronco lineup. We are glad to see it back as it is an impressive sport utility vehicle for the price.
