Ford is producing only 1,350 copies of its GT Supercar for the 2022 model year. This is also the final year of production for the Ford GT. Motor Authority reports that 1,100 copies of the Ford GT have already rolled off the assembly line. That means Ford will only build 250 more GT models before production ends in December.

Ford GT Production Includes Alan Mann Heritage Edition

The final batch of GT models will include an Alan Mann Heritage Edition. The name is a tribute to the Alan Mann Racing prototypes of the 1960s. As such, they feature the red and gold colors of Alan Mann Racing. There is also the inclusion of the No. 16 roundels on the doors and hood, as there was in the original race car.

The Ford GT Alan Mann Heritage Edition also sports unique interior details as well. This includes gold appliques on the instrument panel, door register bezels, and seat brace. The steering wheel has black alcantara with black stitching. The dual-clutch paddle shifters are a red hue that matches the exterior.

Ford says the GT Alan Mann Heritage Edition is only available to approved customers. The first deliveries will take place in early 2022.
