Kia is certainly elevating their game at the moment. With the recent change of identity for the company in removing the “Motors” word from their name, they are embarking on a bold new change of direction. Now, the company has gone ahead and launched its new and updated 2022 Stinger model that they say is further set to elevate “the game” with some new features, high horsepower, and stunning new looks to continue the good progress made with a car that initially launched back in 2017.

The GT-Line is perhaps the most desirable of all Stinger options. It features a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifting. The engine provides 300 hp and it will be available either with rear-wheel drive or torque-vectoring all-wheel drive. Meanwhile, the GT1 and GT2 will be powered by the familiar twin-turbo V6 engine offering 368 hp at 3.3 liters and the same transmission and shifting as the GT-Line.
