The "Mood Curator" Is The 2023 Genesis G90’s Most Exquisite Feature

The Mood Curator can be activated both while the G90 is parked and on the move. To activate this feature, you need to click on the "Mood Curator" option on the third page. This feature offers four different modes: vitality, delight, care, and comfort, all of which offer different settings and distinctive treatments. Genesis provides three fragrant choices to buyers: The Driver’s Awakening, The Great Outdoors, and My Favorite Place, but buyers can only equip two aroma cartridges at a time.

Once activated, the system lifts the window shades, plays distinctive background music through the Bang & Olufsen 23-speaker premium surround audio system, turns on the LED ambient lighting, and sprays the aroma. In the Care and Comfort mode, the Mood Curator then activates the massage seats and reclines the seats to simulate the type of treatment available in a lounge.

The 2023 Genesis G90 is not only beautiful but also powerful. The new G90 ditches the previous 5.0-liter V8 and the 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine for a new 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 setup. Furthermore, Genesis offers this new twin-turbo V6 in two variants. The regular 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine makes 375 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 391 lb-ft of torque at a sweet 1,300 rpm. This unit returns 18 and 26 MPG in the city and highways, respectively, and takes around 5.3 seconds to reach 0-60 mph.

The other engine variant uses a 48-volt electric supercharger that adds 34 horsepower and 14 lb-ft of torque to the twin-turbo V6 engine. Thus, the additional muscle makes the hybrid G90 faster than the latter.

The 2023 G90 gets a newer set of brakes. These brakes return stronger braking performance and come with brake force regeneration for charging the electric supercharger. The newly integrated "Chauffeur Mode" allows drivers to control the brake force. More impressively, the G90’s air suspensions are coupled with "Preview-Electronic Control Suspension," which uses cameras and sensors to detect road conditions and automatically adjust the ride height accordingly.
