Over the years, Toyota's legendary 2JZ engine has built a reputation as one of the best JDM engines ever produced. With its high-level of tunability, strength of stock internals, and availability, it makes for the perfect drivetrain to power just about any vehicle.

Becoming the butt-end of many jokes and memes, the 2JZ has had its fair share of hate, but like other cult classics in car culture, there's a reason it has become a household name among even the most cursory car enthusiasts.

Enter TalonTSi97's Nissan 240sx. The history of the car is currently a mystery as this is its debut on the page, however, it doesn't take long to see the effort that went into this build. Enjoy the glorious sounds of its big turbo, antilag, and nitrous shots as we witness this 240 put up some neck-snapping numbers.

Major Power Thanks To A Souped Up 2JZ

Some would argue the best car-related YouTube videos follow the format of this particular piece of content. Although there are many interesting figures in the car space, most of them take the spotlight away from the car itself.

Luckily, TalonTSi97 lets the build speak for itself. With its lack of dialogue or hosts, we can see just how special this car truly is. Even if it's far from the cleanest 240sx build on YouTube, what it lacks in a wild body kit, crazy stance, or wrap job, it makes up for with substance.

Every crucial component, in order to create this much power safely, has quality parts. Sourcing the 2JZ from First State Motorsports, this 240 also features Wiseco pistons that produce a 10.8-1 compression rate, titanium Ferrea valve train head from HeadGames, Haltech ECU harness kit, and a Powerglide transmission shifting the gears. The best part, however, is the forced induction Billet wheel turbo that whines like an animal in need.

As pictured above, the results are nothing short of stunning. Creating a massive 910 wheel horsepower and 663 lb-ft of torque at the wheels, the car nearly breaks the 1000 horsepower threshold merely on the boost the turbo generates with 42 PSI. But it's when the 240 receives a 100 shot of nitrous where we begin to see the complete power this monster is capable of. Sending 1092 horsepower to the wheels, the 100 shot also boosts the torque to 741 lb-ft.

According to the description, TalonTSi97 has a few more tweaks planned that will increase the horsepower over 1000 solely on boost, making this 240sx, the ultimate Supra fighter.
