The Ford Fiesta ST is one of the best hot hatches in the past 10 years. Car reviewers and enthusiasts praise its back to basics formula of what a fun car should be.

Unfortunately, Ford discontinued the Fiesta in 2019 for the US market. However, the model still lives on especially in the aftermarket. The car is already amazing in stock form, but some of the best modifications for your Ford Fiesta ST come when you add power to the EcoBoost 4-cylinder turbocharged engine

The stock motor has a small turbocharger that limits the amount of boost you can send. By adding a bigger upgraded turbo kit to the Ford Fiesta ST, you achieve gains of over 100 whp. With that in mind, a ton of power in a lightweight body makes the Ford Fiesta ST an awesome option for a sporty used performance car.

In the review by YouTube channel ThatDudeinBlue, a big turbo kit adds a ton of fun and excitement to Ford's discontinued baby hot hatch.

About This Big Turbo Ford Fiesta ST

David Patterson of YouTube Channel ThatDudeinBlue already gives high praise to the stock Fiesta ST. With the modifications done in the video, it takes the hot hatch to a different level.

The main star of the show is the upgraded stock turbo. By reinforcing the stock turbo, you get more power while still keeping a lot of the character of the original car. Big turbo kits tend to drastically change how a car feels, so it is nice to see that has not changed much. Having 300 whp in a lightweight body is not too bad either.

A typical short shifter kit is also added making the gears feel more precise. The car also features lowering springs but does not affect the ride quality very much according to David.

Like most front-wheel drive cars with decent power, torque steer is inevitable. However, with the upgraded sticky tires, the torque steer is manageable and makes it part of the fun.
