The god of the racing world, Michael Schumacher, had success follow him around from a very early age. He has personified racing as the spirit of arrogance and that worked out really well for him.

The first steps towards his making history with sports car racing was when Schumacher was only 4 years old. By building him a kart back then, his father was the one who was playing cupid with Schumacher and his love for sports car racing.

Born in Germany, Schumacher obtained his Luxembourg license at the age of 12. In 1983, he obtained a German license. And that was it. That was the beginning of a career that never made him turn around again. After being the epitome of speed and success for 15 long years, the German handsome retired in 2006.

Schumacher’s move that put both of their cars out of the race, during the 1994 Australian Grand Pix against Hill ignited this rivalry which continued for years. However, Michael Schumacher secured his first world title in this championship.

14 Never Got Along: Ayrton Senna

The star car racer, Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher never got along but it was very short-lived, due to Senna’s early demise. Senna won the world championship three times by 1991, whereas it was just the beginning for Schumacher. By the time, Schumacher tasted his first race victory in 1992, Senna had already been a winner more than 35 times.

13 Never Got Along: Lewis Hamilton

Hamilton was not very happy with the way Schumacher raced, particularly the way he changed directions. In a reported championship event, Hamilton reported to FIA for a rule check that led to Ross Brown, Mercedes’ team principal to step in and advised Schumacher to be more considerate and less defensive.
