Fast N’ Loud is a Discovery Channel’s reality TV show that has been on air since the middle of 2012. The popular TV series centers around Gas Monkey Garage, which Richard Rawlings owns, and works with his crew to transform run-down vehicles into jaw-dropping customs. In December 2020, Richard Rawlings was featured as a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience, and he shocked millions of viewers when he revealed that the show, which was on its 16th season, would no longer be aired.

According to the TV show, the Firebird prototypes had an original value of about $325,000 each, and more interestingly, they claimed the cars were discovered in a barn.

In reality, that’s just a good story for viewers. The Firebirds were actually standard cars that were on sale for just $30,000 on eBay. So, don’t even but the make-belief story that the Pontiac Firebirds are prototypes.

9 Real: Bad Blood Between Richard Rawlings And Jesse James

The entire scene, in which Rawlings appears to be striking a deal with the supposed car owner via a phone call, is nothing but a charade.

5 Real: Sue Left The TV Show

However, the truth is, that was only a stunt to launch a spin-off called Misfit Garage. The new show positioned Richard as the villain, who goes out of his way to undermine the Fired Up Garage's team. Richard owns the new garage and doubles as the producer for the rival TV show.

3 Real: Rawlings’ World Record
