John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are easily two of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling. The pair has clashed a few times in the ring while also moving into highly successful movie careers. They also share a common love for cars and have acquired massive collections over the years.
John Cena has an affinity for muscle machines while the Rock enjoys supercars, yet there are more than a few cars in Cena’s garage that easily could get Johnson’s attention and provoke envy. Some of them are very exclusive, and there's one that’s literally one-of-a-kind. The care he puts into them shows and Cena’s knowledge of cars helps his collection stand out. While there are some great models about, these stand as eight cars in Cena’s collection The Rock might want himself to show how a love of fine automobiles rubs off on both men.
8 2007 Dodge Charger SRT-8 Super Bee
One of Cena’s biggest movie hits was 2018’s Bumblebee, based on the hit Transformers movies. As it happens, Cena has experience with a “Bee” theme already, thanks to a terrific 2007 Dodge Charger SRT-8 Super Bee model.
It looks like it’s about to transform into a robot with a bright yellow paint job alongside the gorgeous style. Under that hood is a HEMI V8 engine that cranks out 425 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque with terrific handling. It’s a fantastic automobile that also offers a fun link to Cena’s movie career.
7 2009 Corvette ZR1
A famous video had Cena take a ride in a 2010 Corvette ZR1 and not being that impressed. It may be because it’s hard to top the beauty of the 2009 'Vette. At the time, the 6.2-liter V8 engine was one of the best around, with 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque.
That meant hitting over 200 mph making for a fantastic ride. The nice trim and coloring also look cool, helping it stand out from the pack. Even if Corvettes aren’t usually the Rock's thing, he has to be impressed by how good this model of the ZR1 is.
6 2007 Saleen/Parnelli Jones Limited Edition Mustang
The “limited” is no misnomer as there were just 500 of these made, each a fantastic homage to the 1970 302 Boss Mustang. Equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 400 hp, this Mustang looks gorgeous with the black trim alongside the bright orange coloring and handles like a dream.
Cena put some good upkeep into it with a few optional extras to boost it up. It’s a mean and lean muscle car that matches Cena’s style—a mix of classic racing with modern engineering—and little wonder he’s proud of showing it off.
5 2006 Dodge Viper
There’s no shock The Rock would want a Dodge Viper in his garage. It matches him, a loud, bold and powerful machine that never stops. The pushrod 20-valve 8.3-liter V10 engine blasts out 510 hp, letting it hit zero to 60 in just over three seconds.
It also looks gorgeous, a throwback to past Dodge beauties with a terrific modern edge. While some later Viper models may pack more power, they don’t handle as well as this and so little wonder it’s one of Cena’s favorite vehicles.
4 2007 Ferrari F430 Spider
While he may be a muscle car lover, Cena still appreciates a Ferrari. He finally got his dream car in the 2007 F430 Spider, one of the company’s last manual cars. It’s also one of the best, with a cool gated transmission, 490-hp, 4.3-liter V8, and a few special extras Cena had installed himself.
He loves to drive it around to boast its great power and prove that while he loves an American muscle car, Cena is as much a sucker for a Ferrari as anyone owning an extensive collection.
3 1970 Plymouth Superbird
One of the more unique cars of its era, the 1970 Plymouth Superbird stands out with that huge wing that spreads out nicely while the sharp front end helps it flow wonderfully on the road.
The 7.0-liter V8 engine produces 425 hp for a top speed of 150 mph, but it’s the style that makes it stand out. Cena loves to flaunt this, even if it’s a quirky ride to handle. Yet when it comes to looking amazing on the road, few cars in Cena’s collection are as striking as this winged wonder.
2 2005 Ford GT
The recent Ford vs Ferrari movie reminded car buffs just how amazing the Ford GT was. In 2005, they reimagined the classic for the modern age, giving it a 550-hp 5.4-liter V8 monster under the hood. Cena made this car even more unique, ordering optional forged wheels with red brake calipers.
Notably, he didn’t put on a big stripe, preferring it to look cleaner and thus more striking. With four thousand made, it’s an exclusive ride and one Cena is proud of showing off.
1 Corvette InCENArator
When you have a car named after you, it’d better be something amazing. Cena reached out to the Parker Brothers to transform his Corvette into “a car from the year 3000.” This led to a fantastic makeover with no doors, so one has to enter through the canopy.
It’s still a Corvette at heart with a surprisingly basic control scheme, but the eight flame-shooting pipes at the back make it hotter. It ran in the Gumball 3000, and while it seems wild, the Rock can’t quite boast of having his own custom car like Cena can.
