There are very few companies that supercar owners will trust with modifying their cars, but Mansory is one of them. Taking its name from its founder, Kourosh Mansory, the brand is based out of Germany and has now been in business for more than 30 years. In that time, they've worked on some of the most exotic machinery in the world, including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Bugattis.

The company has grown to become a renowned expert in carbon fiber and aluminum construction and designed high-end custom body kits for some of the industry's luxury and sports cars for the past 30 years.

They've got dealerships all over the globe, so in theory, any buyer could walk in and order one of these cars tomorrow. In reality, doing that would require many hundreds of thousands of dollars, which means the most likely place the majority of gearheads will see one of these creations is at a car show. However, for the lucky few that are in the position to purchase a Mansory kit, these nine are the best options currently on sale. Just, whatever happens, don't buy the last kit on the list, as that's a terrible idea.

Ferraris have consistently been among the best-selling supercars for decades, so, naturally, Mansory has produced kits for many Prancing Horse models. The 812 Stallone V2 kit is one of the best, as it takes the natural lines of the 812 and makes them even more angular.

Most Mansory kits feature a full suite of exterior and interior changes, and this one is no different, with almost every part of the car tweaked in some way. It's certainly not subtle, but the murdered-out look really works for the 812, and it'll make this car stand out even among a crowd of other supercars.

9 Great: Aston Martin DB11 Cyrus

Aston Martin has a huge amount of racing heritage, and because of that, they tend to be more conservative and refined with their designs. Mansory has taken that idea and turned it on its head, adding plenty of bling to the brand's flagship DB11.

As with many of Mansory's products, there's a lot of patterned carbon fiber on show, which gives the car more of a racing-inspired feel than the stock model. The car's color palate is also similarly themed, with a two-tone silver and green finish that's inspired by the classic British racing green.

8 Great: Bugatti Chiron Centuria

The Bugatti Chiron is already one of the rarest and most expensive cars in the world, but in case that's not quite enough, Mansory will happily make it even madder. The first thing that's noticeable on the Centuria kit is all the carbon fiber, and then there are those fascinating aero-focused wheels.

The car's press release doesn't give a lot of detail into the specifics of the car, and unusually for the brand, there's no word on whether any performance upgrades are available. Perhaps the Chiron is so fast stock that it simply isn't possible for Mansory to make it any quicker.

7 Great: Bentley Continental GT/GTC '16

Millionaires who prefer a more open-air driving experience will enjoy the Bentley Continental GTC, a car built for sunny days in Monaco. Both the interior and exterior are decked out in orange and black, which actually looks really good on this car.

There are the usual extra vents and carbon-fiber trim, but really that's not for any practical reason. A car like this is never going to get anywhere near its top speed, instead of being used to transport its owners from their yachts to the nearest Michelin-star restaurant.

6 Great: Land Rover Range Rover '18

For drivers who like to take several of their friends out in their custom car at once, the latest version of Mansory's Range Rover kit should do just fine. By Mansory's standards, it's actually a fairly reserved design, with the most striking feature being the new blue wrap.

A suite of upgraded internal parts including a new exhaust and a remapped ECU boost the Range Rover's power up to 600 hp, which takes it well into the super-SUV territory. There are also 17 different wheels available for the kit, so no owner has to have the same car as another.

5 Great: Lamborghini Aventador Carbonado Evo

So, who likes carbon fiber? Well, some rich person clearly has an obsession with it, as this heavily modified Lamborghini Aventador is absolutely covered in the stuff. The Carbonado Evo uses a blacked-out version of the same wheels that are on the Chiron kit, and it looks almost as crazy as the Chiron too.

Even the dashboard of the car has been made out of carbon fiber, for some unknown reason. It's incredibly over-the-top and almost completely pointless, but because of that, the Carbonado Evo is a very cool piece of kit.

4 Great: Audi RS6 Avant

Fast wagons are more of a niche sector than mainstream supercars, but they're arguably some of the best cars, period. After all, they combine the power of a supercar with enough room to bring a family and some luggage along for the ride.

The Audi RS6 Avant is arguably the king of the fast wagons, and Mansory has done an amazing job here making it look even more unhinged than it does when it's stock. It's the first wagon Mansory has ever worked on, and if this is the level they're working at then fingers crossed we see more of the same from them very soon.

3 Great: McLaren 720S

Ever since McLaren's first road car, the F1, the British brand has been consistently at the cutting edge of road-legal performance. Mansory has taken one of McLaren's best-loved models, the 720S, and added even more aero features to really turn things up to 11.

The car is apparently inspired by the lines of the great white shark, and as such Mansory has added a front lip and a wing extension, to really emphasize the look of power and speed. The stock 720s was already a mean-looking car, but this kit takes things to a new level of aggression.

2 Great: Ferrari 488 GTB Siracusa 4XX

It's a sure sign that Mansory thinks their kit is good when they give it an overly complicated name, and sure enough, the Ferrari 488 GTB Siracusa 4XX is a stunner. Like many of Mansory's designs, the exterior is made to resemble an animal, but strangely enough this time it's a spider.

Yes, the 4XX is designed to look like Nephilia Clavata, an Asian spider that supposedly brings good luck. Although, anyone with enough money to buy this car has clearly had more than their fair share of good luck in the first place.

1 Terrible: Smart ForTwo

And now, for the terrible option. Why aftermarket companies insist on making kits for the Smart car is a mystery, but it's something that keeps happening. Brabus already put their spin on one, and it looked rubbish. Fellow German tuners Lorinser also had a go, and their attempt was horrible too. Now Mansory has tried their hand and, well, the pictures say it all.

It's great that Mansory has started tuning more affordable cars, as it opens more owners up to being able to afford one of their kits. It's just a shame it had to be that affordable car. A Smart car isn't fast and it doesn't handle well either, and no amount of tuning kit or colorful wraps is going to change that. Mansory might well be industry-leading tuners, but the ForTwo proves that even the best get it wrong sometimes.
