Rezvani Motors is an American boutique manufacturer located in Southern California. In gearhead circles they're known for their insane supercar dubbed the Rezvani Beast, and the tactical urban vehicle the Military TANK. The company was founded in 2013 and debuted the production Beast to the streets in 2015.
The Rezvani Beast is available in several models – the Beast, Beast Speedster, Beast Alpha, Beast X, Beast Alpha X, and the Beast Alpha-X Blackbird. The budget can surpass $325,000 for the base model of the Blackbird, which was named for the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird.
While models and options can spike or fall the price of the Beast, the wow factors for appearance, innovation, and performance are constant. It is an essential bucket list ride on for many reasons. Here are some facts that make the Rezvani Beast an insane must-try ride.
9 Rezvani Was Inspired By Fighter Jets
The Rezvani Beast has been touted as “one of the most unique, extreme vehicles on the planet.” This was the goal of founder Ferris Rezvani. His inspiration came from his father’s occupation as a fighter pilot and the experience of flying an F-4 fighter jet. Rezvani sought to repeat the feeling on the ground in the Beast. The aviation theme is displayed in the Rezvani logo.
8 Designed On Top Of An Ariel Atom
The Rezvani Beast is built on an Ariel Atom—a street-legal, high-performance open-wheel car. The Atom was born as a University project by then-student Niki Smart and who later worked with Tom Walkinshaw Racing, Ford Motor Company, and as a General Motors design manager on projects such as the Cadillac Ciel and Elmiraj. The atom was unveiled to the public in 1996. Ariel currently takes orders for the Atom 4.
7 0 To 60 In 2.9 Seconds
The Beast is pushed by a 2.4-liter supercharged and inter-cooled Honda racing engine that creates 500 horsepower. It boasts a 0 to 60 time of 3.2 seconds; however, it was clocked with times as low as 2.7 seconds. The race-inspired dash display offers shift timing instruction to maximum horsepower.
6 SideWinders: Doors More Unique Than A Lambo
Whether it’s a factory feature or an after-market mod, the “Lambo”-style door is always a stunner on a car. With an option on Beast models such as the Alpha, Rezvani takes unique door-styling a step further, introducing the SideWinder door. A trademark for Rezvani, the SideWinder exudes flash and function. They are not only a true head-turner, but the doors enable added room for the occupants on entry and exit.
5 Super Light All Carbon-Fiber Body: 1,650 lbs
The Beast was developed with double-layered carbon fiber. It is a composite material used in aerospace and Formula 1 race cars. This design makes the Beast one of the world’s lightest sports cars in the world. The original Beast featured a curb weight less than 1,700 pounds. The Beast Alpha-X Blackbird, shown above, has added a removable top and the patented SideWinder doors, increasing its weight to 2,150 lbs.
4 Occupants Are Encouraged to Wear Helmet
passengers are encouraged to wear a helmet. An additional safety measure includes four-point seatbelts.
Sans roof and doors, the Rezvani Beast can drum up safety concerns. A lack of power steering, traction control, and anti-lock brakes add to those thoughts. Build Price Option points out that to quell those,3 100 Percent Hand-Built
Rezvani highlights the quality and craftsmanship of the Beast with every part being hand-built. Over 4,000 hours are required for a complete Beast build. Orders begin with a deposit and stretch over 12 to 16 weeks. Payments are expected throughout the process.
2 Street Legal Super Car For Only $95,000
The Beast debuted in the $200,000 range; however, in 2018, the Beast Alpha came to market at nearly half that cost. The sales price of $95,000 came alongside some changes. The base model at under $100,000 saw horsepower drop to 400 and other features that were standard were listed as options. A fiberglass body and the sick SideWinder doors were only a few that bumped the price.
1 Chris Brown Bought The First Beast
In 2015, Chris Brown took possession of the first Rezvani Beast. The all-in price tag for Brown’s 500-horsepower Beast was $200,000. No doors or roof were included. Brown's receipt was said to include a $35,000 upcharge for a guarantee that it was the first Beast ever made. Brown took delivery of the Beast at the shoot for his video for “Liquor”. He also owns a Rezvani Tank.
