Drag racing is one of the very best forms of motorsport. It's perfectly simple. We get to see two cars go flat out, head-to-head, along the 1/4-mile to find out who is the fastest. It gets even more wild when those cars are heavily modified monsters. Such as these in this video from Automotive Mike, which features an Audi TT RS TTE855 MTR Performance with 900 hp go up against an Audi TT RS with 745 hp at the Race1000 event at Airport Neuhardenberg.
They May Look Similar, But These Two Sports Cars Are Different
These are two very different cars, and two very cool cars. One of them is in gray and one of them is blue and although the video doesn’t actually tell us which is which, we're guessing the gray one is the 900 hp version, based on other videos from the same channel.
The gray one also gets away very well in this video The two cars launch away and the blue one certainly looks to be shifting that bit quicker, although we don’t quite get to see who wins out in that race.
More Drag Racing Throughout
The gray car gets featured the most in this video, and it is soon facing off against other opponents. A BMW SUV is its next target, an unlikely match up, but the SUV does get a great start before the Audi monster gets into its stride and rockets away.
The next opponent for this Audi is a modified VW Golf, but it too gets left behind thanks to the 900 hp within the hood of the Audi, which is putting in a pretty remarkable level of performance. It's in the launch phase that this Audi seems particularly strong.
Taking On A Classic Golf
The Audi comes back for more as it takes on a classic Volkswagen Golf GTI. The GTI though bogs down heavily at the start of its run and has no chance of even trying to fight the 900 hp monster Audi. It is a very impressive machine indeed, and it looks like the car has won all the races it takes part in during this video. The car had big modifications by MTW Performance, the biggest of which is the huge TTE855 turbocharger that sits under the hood. Pretty much nothing in this video was able to live with the 900 hp this car now has.
