Not many people would picture a Jeep on the dragstrip. It’s more suited for off-roading, wading through swamps, and recovery. But, it seems like there’s a Jeep for everything. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is the most powerful Jeep ever developed and is so badass, it’s ranked as one of the most powerful SUVs globally. It’s the hottest thing ever to wear a Jeep badge.

YouTube channel cvdzijden - Supercar Videos uploaded rare footage of a RACE1000 event, where a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SRT goes head to head with a Lamborghini Urus, among other race cars on a drag strip in Germany. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SRT is a beast on the strip for one reason: it has a Hellcat’s heart. Packing a supercharged Hellcat V8 under the hood, the Trackhawk makes a whopping 707 hp.

Running on an all-wheel-drive system, the Trackhawk can do 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds. All that power doesn’t come cheap. It’s almost three times the price of a regular Jeep Ladero, competing with world-class SUVs like the Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo.

At 707 hp, the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SRT is just ten horsepower shy of the Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT. It’s believed that the Trackhawk’s restrictive exhaust reduces its torque by 5 lb-ft, making it 645 in total. But once the foot is on the pedal, the melodic notes at the back make up for any power loss.
